If I had a bank, I'll help EVERYONE! Those that were credit worthy. Those that were just building a name. Those that messed up and were willing to try again. We are just giving them their space and letting them be happy for the moment)

I have NO financial background. I actually hate accounting and do not fancy business that much, but ONLY use it as a tool to stay thinking until I'm ready to study something in Sciene.  Don't worry, I'm still a little 26 year old baby, so unless God takes me before, if I go to study Medicine at 30, I'll still be a young doctor - RIGHT?. I love the Sciences - tell me about Chemistry or Biology or Mathematics - then we're talking.

They have the power to lower interest rates. They have the POWER  AND  THE  MONEY  to lend more. They have the POWER to speed up how fast we get out of this recession, but. . . .there is a BIG  BUT. . . . .it's all apart of THE  SYSTEM to keep people under pressure. I won't lie, because no money is circulating among the small man and small businesses in the Caribbean, we all have problems meeting our obligations and this causes banks to rate us HIGH  RISK and put all soughts of notes in their systems about you.

Next time you go to a teller and the teller goes to his/her supervisor, or his or her supervisor has to come to the computer, tell yourself that the bank probably has some safety mechanism in place to protect themselves from you - which is all good - we all need policies in business.

BUT. . . .there is a BUT again. . . .Caribbean People - when will we open our eyes and learn. If Governments are having hard times too and running to the IMF for help, even when they can't pay their bills and the International Monetary Fund is still helping them, just under structural arrangements, don't you think that our BANKERS  CAN  HELP  US  TOO  JUST  LIKE  THAT?

I'm sure everyone has answered in the affirmative. Those that didn't answer, are probably the top bankers who are reading this blog entry, hating on this little boy for talking and opening eyes and who are financially safe and just care about themselves.

Don't let them fool you - They can help and they can help fast. I want us all as Caribbean folks to also note too, that while we sometimes blame those at the TOP for not wanting to help, it is sometimes those at the BOTTOM, the JEALOUS ones that are keeping back your loan applications. The ones that think that you are too poor to own a house. The ones that think that you have too many ideas and will do everything in their power to stop your application from being approved and then smile with you and wish you well outside the bank, when in truth and in fact, they CREATIVELY  ENSURED that you would never get through when it is passed on to the manager or board for approval.

I am always of the view that applicants should be called in to see their application, comments, etc from other creditors and to maybe, at times, challenge comments before the application is passed on for approval. Haven't you noticed? You apply, they do their credit checks, people say good or DIRTY YOU, then you keep calling and calling and waiting and waiting to only hear you are denied? How disheartening?

You get my point by now! I'm ANGRY with Caribbean Bankers and I'm going to START  THE  CARIBBEAN  BANKING  REVOLUTION  NOW. I'm going to give you but a few ideas, get you angry and thinking too and I'll show you right here in the Caribbean and around the world, how to REACT  IMMEDIATELY and not just scare our Bankers - but cause them to issue press releases, advertise more and even lower interest rates quickly.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. commented on the Fierce Urgency of NOW. If I don't stay ADVOCATING for better BANKING  POLICIES, BETTER  BANKING  RATES,  MORE  FLEXIBLE  TERMS  FOR  OUR SMALL  BUSINESSES, our people and businesses will soon be hanging on the gallows until we die.

I believe as an ordained minister, my duty isn't only to preach CHRIST ALONE, but also to CONDEMN AND  SPEAK  OUT  AGAINST  WRONG. I'm far from perfect, but I believe that is just what Jesus would have done too and it would be remiss of me to join with a large majority of SILENT  PASTORS  around the Caribbean and world and ly in my bed, fill my coffers with earnings from the church, live big drive big, eat big and not try to help my flock and following.

His response is always, you have to work for BETTER for the people FIRST AND FOREMOST and show them that you are a DIFFERENT  MINISTER  AND  REALLY  CARE and are working for them. I am excited, because nothing is keeping us back. We have done all the work in preparation. We have our speakers, mixers, cameras, Easy Worship Software, we already set up our computer lab to ensure ALL our members become computer literate and we have classes already, we have our 1st Opening Service Program, our group names, meeting times etc. Our plans are all set so if God says to open TOMORROW NIGHT - we are ready, but he just wouldn't let me, thus I wait.

Note well, I may be wrong with this statement, but I don't believe the Chambers of Industry and Commerce around the Caribbean work for the small man. They already have their big money put asside, so they just use their power and governmental access to grab more of the pie and try to crush us as small business people. I would never join those small businesses that give up.

Even if I'm bleeding and to my knees, I will creep on still in hot coal fire. I will still fight on.

I did pray to God for wisdom like Solomon when I was younger and not riches at first. Since 2008, when the recession started, I have been waiting to see which Caribbean Prime Minister would be creative as President Barrack Obama to inject some URGENT capital into businesses and establish a program like The Jobs Act to pump money into the small businesses. I still wait to write that article 5 years after. By not helping the poor and the small businesses, Caribbean Bankers and Governments are saying to us - "GO BOUT YOU BUSINESS - WE DON'T  NEED YOU!" "There are many simple individuals in the world doing a great job, have great ideas and have a passion for youth just like me, but oft times are not recognized because they may not be as aggressive as others. Mr. Terrence Edwards, Head Teacher of The Tyrell Williams Primary School is one such individual." Those words were echoed by Khrystus Wallace, President and Founder of Dare 2 Be Different International at the school's 1st Parent-Teachers meeting for the 2013 held on Wednesday, 23rd January.

This article, is among a series of articles that would be penned during 2013 as Dare 2 Be Different Celebrates 5 years of impacting, innovative and creative Youth Ministry this year. These Global Spotlight Articles seek to introduce to the world, some of the simple people who have been financially behind our ministry and events over our last 5 years of existence. We believe that one of the simplest ways to say thanks, is to publicly recognize them and adopt or continue to work with them and the organizations that they are apart of moving forward. This is one benefit of supporting our ministry. We are DIFFERENT to others. Recognizing the constant and exceptional work that Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com is doing with youth not only in St. Kitts - Nevis, but across the world, Mr. Terrence Edwards wrote to the ministry during the latter part of 2012 and asked the team to again assist with executing a few of his ideas for the school in the New Year, as he underscored the critical importance of The School, The Community and The Church working together to impact tomorrow's generation.

Although much more quiet than most head teachers around the world, Mr. Edwards is bursting with ideas and just needs the extra help and resources. Before introducing Mr. Khrystus Wallace to the Parent - Teacher's Gathering, he expressed his sincerest thanks to Dare 2 Be Different International for adopting the school at the beginning of the September 2012 school year and its weekly active involvement, visits, assemblies etc. 

He reminded the Parents that it was Wallace's Ministry that fully organized and executed the BEST  CAREER  DAY the Federation had ever seen since its birth and asked to say thanks to those on the team that carried out the event last school year. (Tracy Chapman, Patricia Sampson, Lemercius Wallace, Joy Codrington, Stacy Brown).

Dare 2 Be Different International not only got the children to elegantly dress in their career fair clothes, but got the Fire Truck, The Ambulance, The Police Cars to take children for an exciting drive around the community with the sirens etc on. Ministry Leader Khrystus Wallace then led over 250 students marching around the community in in their professional wear, as they chanted, "YES  WE  CAN" or "WE  WILL  MAKE  IT"

This was all an idea of Mr. Edwards, but he allowed an active community group to execute his vision.

Edward's latest idea is to establish a Community Parenting Club. The caring headteacher stated in a meeting with the team that he thought that establishing such a group NOW, was very important because having taught for most of his life, he was seeing a drastic decrease in proper parenting skills and aggressively begged the group to start as early as possible because the community needed URGENT help.

Forward thinking Head Teacher Edwards mentioned that he also wanted parents from the Pre-Schools whose children would soon be enrolling at the school, to join the club now and start being apart of something positive, because the earlier The Club makes an impact on the parents, the easier it would be for teachers having to work with them.

President Khrystus and a few team members discussed the matter and decided that it fell well within one of their 5th Anniversary Projects  that was scheduled to be launched in June 2013 - its Anniversary Month. It was also well within the ministry's Mission-Vision Plan The team decided to launch it along with launching The Tyrell Williams Primary Parenting Club as it would fall directly under it.

This New Initiative of the ministry is called The Dare 2 Be Different Global Empowerment Project - www.theglobalempowermentproject.com and would seek to encourage individuals to form clubs and cooperatives around the world and work together, help and empower each other, as that is the only survival tool currently available in financially turbulent times.

Wallace in addressing the parents cautioned them to get involved immediately. He told them that they were primarily responsible for the success of their children. Wallace passionately warned about the quest after THE  MIGHTY DOLLAR that was affecting many children across the globe. His point was that Parents should play a keen interest in what happens to their children when they have to work and they are not at home. He outlined that it was during these unmonitored times, that children get involved in sex and drugs and wrong company.

Wallace gave a little run down of his life growing up and commended his mother Mrs. Yvette Wallace for keeping her children under strict order and discipline. He stated that anything her children do now, that isn't right, could never be blamed on his parents as they trained them well and his team wanted to try its best to encourage PROPER  PARENTING  SKILLS again at the club. Wallace told the gathering that they had to care for guinea pigs, rabbits, sheep, pigs, do house chores etc and still shine at school. He encouraged parents to bring back those days immediately.

"Buy a cow! Buy a rabbit! Buy a pig! Let them join a class, learn a skill, music, etc. Get your children positively involved now, in the earlies. If you see your child getting involved in the wrong things and joining the wrong company and you never tried to get them positively involved in something, it would be ALL  YOUR  FAULT!"

Before his presentation, Wallace asked the parents to get up for 1 minute and tell 5 people something good. A handful of them moved and carried out the exercise. He then told them, that when they go home and tell their children to wash the dishes or clean their room or help around the house, they should NEVER punish them or shout after them, because THEY  TOO  were not being obedient and the few children in attendance saw their outright disrespect. Wallace told them that if the Parenting Club was to get anywhere, their children MUST see them actively involved in something and doing the right things and their spirit would definitely rub off on their youth.

Wallace then officially launched the Parenting Club and quickly put the ball in the court of the parents to suggest a once per month meeting time. The parents agreed that the 2nd Thursday each month at 5:30pm would be quite suitable.

President Wallace said that God had blessed him with a fresh energy and charisma and they need not worry that the group would be boring. He highlighted a few of his plans which include FREE  COMPUTER  CLASSES  at The Dare 2 Be Different Academy - www.daretobedifferentacademy.com for Parents who attend the club's monthly meetings. Quite excited to hear that first plan, dozens of parents were overly excited to have their names added to the registration book. Using the cell numbers and emails, Parenting Tips, School Announcements etc will be constantly communicated to parents as Wallace slowly works to raise funds and help make The Tyrell Williams Primary School a fully Technological Agency where each class can have their own sponsored computers, televisions and better access to learning resource material.

The involvement of Dare 2 Be Different International in the life of the school will see Dean of The Dare 2 Be Different Academy - www.daretobedifferentacademy.com  - Retired Educator, Mrs. Yvette Wallace, M.Ed (a teacher for over 20 years, Head teacher for 10 and Education Officer for 5,) along with other folks from the youth gospel ministry giving back to the community by teaching for a few hours a month on teacher's regular time table. Mrs. Wallace, an Educator all her life noted that this involvement in the school, is expected to add a special flavor and energy to the learning experience as the children would look forward to seeing new faces now and again helping them out. Mrs. Wallace would be ensuring that extra effort be placed on the Grade 6 so that they stand out in their Test of Standards in June 2013.

Wallace encouraged the gathering to ensure to give God thanks for Mr. Edwards, for had he not been so agressively involved in The Ministry, although he is not seen or heard of much, the ministry would have quite unlikely not selected their school for adoption.

Upon entering the school yard, dozens of Tyrell Williams Primary Students thought that Wallace had come to have fun with them as he usually does at times and wouldn't let him go to the meeting as they wanted to hug him, play with him, smile with him, give him a high five. Interestingly enough after, just like the children, dozens of parents didn't want to let Wallace leave the school compound as they too wanted to see how they can get their children even more involved in the ministry and spend time around him.

Having single handedly walked the school's compound to ensure doors were properly locked as any outstanding headteacher would do, and after sitting in his car for a while and patiently waiting, Mr. Edwards kindly asked that Wallace and parents take the conversation on the outside of the yard as he hard to properly secure the school.

I am most certain that the visible parental engagement with Khrystus Wallace excited Head Teacher Edwards and caused his heart to leap for joy as great things are in store for The Tyrell Williams Primary School Parenting Club.

Minister Laurence Knight and Family Touch Down And Whip Devil At The Mount Carmel Baptist - A True Example of a Pastor

"We sometimes think that we are in charge of our destiny, but it is GOD that is LARGE and IN CHARGE!" Those were but a few of the POWER WORDS delivered by Minister Laurence Knight as he addressed The Mount Carmel Baptist Church congregation today.

Before he took the microphone from Bishop Dr. Kelvin Jones who introduced him, his daughter Laurencia Knight read the passage of scripture that he was about to share on.

That was John 3:1-10 - The story of Nicodemus. The Mount Carmel Bulletin already made the church aware that Minister Knight was about to share on the topic - "A Desire to Know God."

I loved the full representation of his family. As Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com, President, I make no bones about this statement, Minister Laurence Knight has ALL the attributes of a TRUE PASTOR. (listed below this article). I still have some catching up to do as an ordained minister too.

His wife, Sister Icilma Knight pre-creded her huband with the rendition of a lovely song with a strong message then humbly took her seat by her children as they sat and supported husband and daddy. (CLICK TO PLAY SONG BELOW)

Look at that lovely FAMILY  PICTURE  ABOVE  cheering on the Minister of the Gospel. WOW! If you read this message and see Brother Knight, don't tell him I said so, but while taking the photo, I said to myself, "Lord, please provide for me a wife like Sister Icilma. One that would give me nice children like the Knights, one that would help me train them up in the nuture and admonition of the Lord, one that would come with me at nearly every place I have to preach around the world and ensure the children are there to cheer on their daddy."

Shhhhhh. . . .Laurencia is too young for me, so I have to keep on praying and waiting. (Don't tell Brother Knight I said that either, or he'll come pounding down my door shouting BROTHER  KHRYSTUS - BROTHER  KHRYSTUS."

Now back to the article. "Salvation is PERSONAL!" postulated Minister Knight. "We MUST each make that decision for ourselves. Sometimes we have to separate ourselves from the crowd. Come out from among them. That's what Nicodemus did. He had a desire to know more about Jesus."

I have to really train some more of the youths that come to every event with me because I was busy taking notes, taking pictures and still recording and trying to eat ALL the food that Brother Laurie was sharing all at once. HE  WASN'T  AN  EMPTY  PREACHER. We all know there are dozens LOOSE on our pulpits today. Brother Laurie was SHARING  REAL,  SOLID  FOOD and scriptures to backup everything he was saying.

"Do what you have to do to meet Jesus! Zacheaus ran ahead. He was determined to meet this Jesus. When he met him, Jesus told him, TODAY, SALVATION HAS COME TO YOUR HOUSE."

Minister Knight wasn't just preaching to unbelievers, he does what great Ministers of the Gospel do, he spoke to everyone. "Christians, don't let anybody prevent you from getting closer to God. This 2013, you MUST develop a desire to know more about Jesus and tell the world."

Friend, let me stop here. My pink note paper is still filled with about 90% of notes and food that I can't share on in one article, but I'll share some of Minister Knight's preaching clips below. What I did like about his style though, was that he wasn't just a HOT  AND  EMPTY  PREACHER. He took time out to be cool, share and discuss the scriptures in depth as they showed up on the screen. At times I felt like I was at Wednesday Night Bible Study. Then at other times, I felt I was at a Billy Graham Evangelistic Crusade as he evangelized and delivered POWERFULLY.

Dr. Knight. . . .excuse me, excuse me, Minister Knight (If I had the power to bestow on him his Doctorate after such indept study and delivery, I definately would). One day The Dare 2 Be Different Academy - www.daretobedifferentacademy.com would be able to do that - ONE  DAY  SOON.

But Dr. Knight (UNOFFICIAL) was serious most times during his delivery of the word, but used a bit of humour throughout his sermon to keep his audience alive. I was taught that as a SPEAKER, but I believe Minister Knight was taught that by the HOLY  SPIRIT.

Friend, Minister Laurence Knight was the Young Baptist Fellowship President who first singled me out and gave me an opportunity to Exort while the youths were keeping Youth Night Service on Sunday. 17th February, 2002 (Yes I still have my notes in my archives. I just went back to my TV-RADIO-STUDY STUDIO and looked up the date) I spoke for about 5 minutes on the Subject: If You Have A Ticket To Tarshish - Throw It Away. Jonah 1:1-3. (I remember Minister Knights words to me after that night just like yesterday. He said to me with his little GRINNING  SMILE, as he bowed his head and shook my hand. He said, Good Job - Brother Khrystus - Good Job. With a bit more study and prayer, you'll reach very far. I documented those words. Be very careful what you say to me or about me, I am a freelance journalist and my archives are filled with comments, good and bad echoed over my life. I save them for a reason. One day, I'll publish a book with them and thank the people who cheers me on, encouraged me and stayed in my corner and I'll. . . .  . . . . . . . .

It was after that exhortation, God started pouring in dozens of preaching opportunities around St. Kitts - Nevis and the world from age 15. It was all because Minister Laurence Knight gave me a chance - a first chance to preach, then used me alot at the Monthly Young Baptist Open Airs he ensured he had as President. Those were the good old days. They good old days of sure discipline, no compromise and production of Model Youths.

Having delivered such a POWER  WORD, even before handing back the Microphone to Dr. Jones to do the invitation, people walked to the altar. Saved, Unsaved and Back-sliden. I was one too that stepped to the altar and gave God thanks for the word. I didn't stay too long though, because as a co-minister of the Gospel, we always have a duty to share with those at the altar and that is just what I did and can personally report to the world that folks did come for Salvation and Re-Dedication. While doing my altar duties, I looked up on the stage to see what Brother Laurie was doing. Interestingly enough, he was on his knees PRAYING and GIVING  GOD  THANKS  FOR  USING  HIM, not like many of us PAMPOUS  AND  HIGH-HEADED  PREACHERS  who just wait to see who all shake our hands and say the word was GREAT. Brother Laurie was on his knees.

Truly, Minister Laurence Knight and Family Touched Down And Whipped The Devil At The Mount Carmel Baptist 20th January, 2013 Morning Worship Service.

As I drew closer to him to shake his hand, I saw that a few ugly grey hairs were easing out their heads from his face and I said to myself, "Wow - youth certainly doesn't stay with us all our life." I then wondered what can I do for Minister Knight as a way of saying thanks for being the Gentleman to give me a chance to preach - so many chances to preach and not being one time at all JEALOUS. The humble man who launched me into ministry."

God told me there and then to honour Minister Knight as one of our Dare 2 Be Different 5th Anniversary Awardees and launch an Online Ministry that would reach the world just like mine - www.thevictorycentre.com  with his own Internet TV Station so he remains preaching 24-7 / 365 days. He said that I must teach his children how to use Social Media just like our team and grow his ministry international for now was the time.

It was shortly after he was ordained, we had a meeting about doing much with his EVANGELISM  FOR  ALL  MINISTRIES (EFAM), but it didn't take much root and Brother Laurie got very occupied with Family and WORK.

We can never comprehend how God moves though. Probably, that wasn't the time because I wasn't so advanced, wise and fast with technology then, as I am now. So, NOW  IS  THE  TIME and very soon, the world will be able to watch Minister Knight Preaching, His Wife Icilma Knight singing, his children reading the Bible or sharing Bible Stories 24-7 / 365 days a year from the convenience of their HOME - imagine that. All because it was Minister Knight that launched The Dare 2 Be Different Global President into ministry on Sunday, 17th February, 2002.

Be very careful how you treat people now and what you say about them now. Always give folks a chance, never be jealous of them, push them, encourage them, pray for them, because those very same people can be the very ones to impact your life for the better in the future.

At this Dare 2 Be Different 5th Anniversary Year, I say to the world publicly, that the Knights have been much source of encouragement to me over all the years of my life and ministry. They have never been ones to hear bad things about me and not call or meet me quickly and encourage me or offer a word of advice and encouragement.

A call, an email, a short talk on the road from mommy and daddy Knight and a hug from the children now and again has kept me going in the face of adversity. They are among the people that I can count on ONE  HAND that CONSTANTLY keep me encouraged and going. They are RARE. They are UNIQUE. They are God's Chosen indeed.

Former Police Officer David Allen Almost Beaten Badly But Recovers After Throwing Dozens of Super Punches

Whop! Whap! Whop! Whap! I could feel them for Brother Allen and honestly, I got one or two of them. I am a little embroiderer and screen printer from www.thecaribbeanprintshop.com and therefore not accustomed to the rough life, so I stepped away and supported Former Officer Allen in my spirit.

I know it was something bad to step back, but I'm sure you would have done it too with those blows that were throwing. I just let him handle himself. After all, he was the Former Police Officer who should have received training to handle such fierce battles. Just like John Cena always makes a comeback when ever his competitors seem to be winning, Officer Allen did just that too - Whop! Whap! Whap! Whap! Whap! and more WHAPS. He through punches left, right and centre and I had to declare him a WINNER - he represented well.

What has this world come too - Such Serious Fighting on Church Land? Fighting on the historic Mount Carmel Baptist Church Property established by The Late Dr. William Connor? A former Police officer, a long serving christian member coming up against a regular unsaved man? What has this world come too? Should I report it? Was Dr. Connor turning in his grave? What would the Commissioner of Police say? Would this give Bishop Dr. Jones a heart attack when he heard?

Settle down friend - It wasn't any fist to fist fight - It was a little word to word battle and Brother David Allen - Like the Prophet Elijah came up against the servants of Baal, WAS  TOTALLY READY - more than ready to defend his faith. He didn't have to use Police Training Tactics to take down his opponent. He pulled from the word of God that he had knitted to his heart. Although we were doing some construction work, he was equipped with his Bible on his blackberry and pulled from the King James version several times to show his Christ Opponent that he wasn't just quoting, there was the proof.

After the gentleman had aggressively stated his beliefs etc and soaked them in, along with bashing Christians and outlining so many Christians who weren't living right by their names, it was like I heard Brother Allen say Like Elijah, before returning dozens of Scriptural punches, "1 Kings 18:21 How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word."

Whop! Whap! Scriptures Galore! Whop! Whap! Scriptures Galore! I thought I was now in a dream with how fast Brother Allen was quoting scriptures and hushing his opponent. Honestly friend, I say to the world, Brother Allen knows way more scriptures than me as an ordained minister and if I see him on TV trying to enter the Guiness Book of World Records to see who can quote the Bible Backwards - I'll be right there cheering him on in a short skirt and pom poms (oops that wasn't to come out). (Note: Just a little humour and use of literature to express how well Brother A knows the Bible)

The gentleman had a point though and got very agressive and both myself and Brother Allen told him publicly that we agreed with him. He said, "Ya'll say ya'll have the truth and ya'll Christians don't go out to teach and witness. I don't see ya'll in Mansion and Keys and so forth walking up and down like the Jehovah Witnesses. Ya'll always in somebody else house and by girl friend and boy friend and doing all sorts of things instead of witnessing like the JWs"

Friend - No Lie - I'm guilty as charged too. I'm not a house to house person except for ministry but I'm always busy with business and ministry like Martha and don't spend enough time on the road - You too? Or are you Mr. or Ms. Perfect and evangelizing just as much as the JWs or even more? If you answered YES - is that your first lie for the New Year?

He went on to start sharing a bit about the beliefs of the JWs to which Brother Allen carefully listened and aggressively responded with a scripture. "Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

The gentleman said, "So you saying I cursed?"  The Contractor who was silent all this time butted in, "Ya'll Stop The Fighting! Stop the fighting! Hell is here on earth." Brother Allen paused, looked at me and said, "Brother Wallace, you have some serious work to do with that man you brought see. Deal with him! Mine You! Talk to him."

He continued dealing with his opposition, "Once you don't believe the whole truth of the word and take away or add to it, YES  YOU  ARE  CURSED." He quickly challenged him to make a shift unto the JESUS  TRACK right there on the Mount Carmel Baptist Pasture as we were completing our first 50th Anniversary of Establishing The 1st Baptist Mission Project today - Many more to come."

Brother Allen did it like we Mount Carmel Preachers preach it. "He didn't water it down, he didn't make it sensitive, he declared the whole truth about JESUS and gave the man an ultimatum. Accept Christ's Plan of die and go to hell.

Interestingly enough, this must go down in Mount Carmel Baptist History. This was the 21st Century Prophet Elijah in the person of Brother Allen, who came up against the adversary, the exact place where Elijah told everyone to go in 1st Kings 18 - That was Mount Carmel. Like Elijah won the battle - so too did our Brother David "Elijah" Allen do.

The rain came down and Brother Allen's Wife - Sister Earla, had robbed him of the family vehicle to supposedly go on a Lady's Run. I won't criticize her here because she sent a Vita Malt and some Black Fruit Cake for me and my colleague to snack on, so I'll leave her alone this time.

I found myself now in a strange position. I had a choice to do two things.

1. Carry Brother Allen, his tools and our Dare 2 Be Different Maintanence man home or
2. Let Brother Allen's opponent take him home since he was driving and my collegue and I head West to our destination.

I wasn't afraid that the gentleman would throw any more punches because Former Police Officer David Allen and Veteran Soldier in God's Army already had the gentleman in a CONVICTION  LOCK and no where to run. Although being heavily indoctrinated by the JWs for years, Brother Allen changed this adult's mind with his Evangelistic Street Ministry and I assume the rest is history and Brother Allen will update me when we talk again.

Friend, through the discussion, I was so happy that as the ordained minister, Brother Allen didn't give me a chance to say a word, but he represented CHRIST  WELL and also The Mount Carmel Baptist Church with Distinction.

God has truly blessed Mount Carmel with just the right team. 52 years in Ministry Bishop Dr. Kelvin Jones along with several radical preachers who we'll be sending around the world from now on in the persons of Brother Valston Johnson, Brother Melvin James, Brother David Allen and Brother Fahie. (If I forgot anyone, please forgive me as I am pretty new at the church)

With a radical team like this, I can feel the devil running back to his drawing board beause he certainly doesn't know what to do with such unity and strength of God Men ready to root up and pull down the enemy's strong holds and build the Kingdom of God all across the world and re-ignite the fire of the late Brother William Connor and the Wycliff Crusaders that Bishop Jones always talks about.

All in all - in just about 2 1/2 hours, Brother Allen, Our Young Abled Constractor and Myself had cleaned up and demolished the rotten roof structures and we are now prepared on Thursday, 3rd January, 2013 to start placing new roofs. It's amazing what a small team, following a fresh vision can do in such a short time just because we care about our Youth and have decided that under NO  CIRCUMSTANCE - the devil will have anyone of them from 2013 onwards - We will empower, teach and develop Christian Principles from small as we launch our Boyz 2 Men and Girls to Pearls Club Houses right after they are completed.

Do continue to pray for Brother David Allen as we launch him as head of our Evangelistic Ministry at Mount Carmel and establish The Evangelism Institute, a 50th Anniversary Project which will offer free classes taught by Brother Allen to those from Mount Carmel, our sister churches or any christian that follows our doctrine as we prepare to get radical about evangelism in 2013.
