Free Computer Classes, Free Homework Help & Part Time Jobs for St. Kitts - Nevis Students thanks to New D.2.B.D Youth Trendsetters Group

"Not because someone may not have completed high school with 9 subjects and never went to a College or University, doesn't mean they should be written off or shutup. We should always take time to listen to them. They are usually the ones with the BIGGEST  AND  GREATEST  IDEAS but are usually seen as the underdogs of society." Those were the words of President and Founder of Dare 2 Be Different International - Khrystus Wallace as he closed off the first meeting of a NEW  DIVISION of his ministry called Youth Trendsetters.

Youth Trendsetters is an idea of Rodney "Lawyer" Williams. Mr. Williams rushed into The KVK Printing Company - www.kvkenterprises.com some time last week with a whirlwind energy that he wanted to do something continuous to empower and help the youths in the Trinity Community that he grew up in, but needed the help of someone who could carry out his idea. Williams claimed that he was an executor, but wasn't someone to put all the logistics together.

In a heart touching sessions, Rodney Williams took time to run down his entire life, remembering the good times and regretting the bad times. In a unique statement, he said, "Mr. Wallace, I can't undo the bad I've done, but I can make a big difference on the youth moving forward because so many of them look up to me for help."

Rodney's idea is to keep his childhood community positively occupied with creative community events all year round so they never make mistakes in life similar to what he had made. Such events would be Block Parties, Cleanups, Beach-nics, Pool Parties, Walk-a-thons, Exercise Classes, Church, Dinners, Business Labs Training, Elderly Assistance, Homework Classes, Lectures, Shopping Trips To St. Maarten, Youth Camps, Family Planning Sessions, Fishing Expeditions, Debates, Community Discussions + Much Much Much More.

Wallace loved the idea and pulled a few of his Dare 2 Be Different Team Members together to help add to the Mr. William's Vision and make it part of his 5th Anniversary Celebrations. The team agreed that Youth Trendsetters will be extended to communities all across St. Kitts - Nevis and will be a NATIONAL  YOUTH  EMPOWERMENT   PROJECT.

The project  would also allow FREE  HOMEWORK  CLASSES,  FREE  COMPUTER  CLASSES  at The Dare 2 Be Different Academy - www.daretobedifferentacademy.com  and a Guaranteed 4 hour per week job that would be EC$8 per hour to ALL students and parents interested.

Mr. Williams and the team, quite concerned with how the organization would be able to pay so many youths, challenged the move. Wallace explained that it was quite simple. He suggested that Youth Trendsetters will setup fundraising assets and let the participants work to keep them alive and such assets no doubt will provide the sustainable long term support for the JOB  INITIATIVE and begin to put money into the hands of young people, helping them open saving accounts etc. Such assets include

1. A Youth Trendsetters Vegetable Farm
2. A Youth Trendsetters Animal Farm
3. A Youth Trendsetters Supermarket
4. A Youth Trendsetters Variety Store.

The Youths will also learn agro-processing, craft and sewing skills from Mrs. Yvette Wallace and others individuals the team may have to hire. Therefore, for four hours each week, when Youth Trendsetters are not being helped educationally or being kept occupied with a social event, they will be working and making sugarcakes, fudges, sweet potato and bread fruit flour, potato and breadfruit chips, local drinks, craft and other sewn items.

This is the first kind of Sustainable Youth Initiative the Federation or Caribbean has ever seen.

Wallace said that with his new restructuring of his USA BUSINESS - The Supply Shop Inc - www.thesupplyshopinc.com, they would work with the USA Food and Drug Administration to seek approval for the youth's goods to be exported to that territory and to others across the Caribbean. One of Dare 2 Be Different's ideas is to open ALL  LOCALLY  PRODUCED  FRANCHISES  around the Caribbean and the world. www.thealllocallyproducednetwork.com .

This would keep The Youth Trendsetters Project sustainable in St. Kitts - Nevis and also allow it to open in other Caribbean territories because these Franchise Stores in the USA and around the world will only stock goods that Youth Trendsetters Produce.

Wallace set signup for the program for EC$120 / US$45 for the year per youth and it only runs from Grade 3 to Form 5 in High School. Signup will ONLY happen during February of Each Year and the Program will start during the Easter Weekend of Each Year.

The EC$120 fee was yet another battle with Khrystus and his team members since one computer session costs $20 making it $80 per month. The President said, "you see, it's not always about money. Let's see how many we can give back to and help during this our 5th Anniversary Year then we can possibly revise it next year, make it a monthly fee or so. BUT  LET'S  GIVE A  FIRST  OPPORTUNITY  to some youths. Each youth that signs up will get 10 FREE Shares in The Supply Shop Inc - www.thesupplyshopinc.com valued at US$1 each and expected to rise in value as the company grows. This is only for FEBRUARY 2013 and empowers young people by giving them OWNERSHIP  in a company.

The shares are NOT  FOR  SALE  TO  THE  GENERAL  PUBLIC and according the The Florida Office of Financial Regulation, only 35 uncredited investors can buy and all others had to be Accredited Investors for the company.

Wallace continued, "They get Free Classes! Free Skills Training! A Paying Job and SHARES - OWNERSHIP in a USA COMPANY for FREE. Let's see how many wise parents will enroll their children for EC$120 for an entire year to get FREE  COMPUTER  CLASSES,  FREE  HOMEWORK  CLASSES,  a job that can pay them up to EC$128 per month or EC$32 per week once they work. Let's see who are the wise parents and guardians who will let their children join The Youth Trendsetters club to learn to screen print, embroider, make jams, jellies, breadfruit and sweet potato flour, learn to sew etc."

The program is open to St. Kitts and Nevis Youths from Grade 3 to Form 5. The team is prepared to work with 10 or 2000 students as it will recruit more volunteers and organize it properly after February 2013 closes and ensure that during march, a proper timetable, acceptance letters, etc are presented to parents, guardians and youth for a GREAT  START  during Easter 2013.

The government, public, private sector is invited to sponsor children that may not be able to afford such a program and may be disenfranchised because of poverty.
