Afternoon - Evening Classes at The KVK Learning Institute, now known as the Dare 2 Be Different Academy - www.daretobedifferentacademy.com start on Monday, 13th January, 2014.
Khrystus started his Learning Institute in September, 2002 having graduated Valedictorian of the Verchilds High School Class of 2002 that same year. At the tender age of sixteen, (16), his first batch of students were teachers, head teachers and Education Officers from across St. Kitts, with a drive to learn more about the computer and write CXC Information Technology.
Guided by his best friend and past Information Technology Teacher Mr. Dinesh Deepak from the Basseterre High School, with roots in India, Khrystus successfully tutored and helped his all adult students pass the CXC subject in the June 2003 sitting.
As God would have it, the excited and happy Educators automatically started advertising his classes for him from free as they told of their successes and he hasn't done much aggressive advertising of his Learning Institute for the last ten (10) years.
Another one of Khrystus' success stories was that of the then eleven (11) year old Jonathon Browne, son of renowned Nurse Eulynis Browne. Nurse Browne enrolled her son at age eight (8) and he was apart of Khrystus' Childrens Computer Class. After around two years, Wallace told Nurse Browne that he thinks that her ten (10) year old was now fit to join his CXC class and he begged her to allow him the chance to prove a point to the world - YOUNG PEOPLE ARE GROWING WISER AND WISER DAY BY DAY.
Quite skeptical that he was pushing the then ten (10) year old boy too fast too soon, she consented and Khrystus agreed that he would pay for the CXC Examination fees. When Sir Johnathon Browne did indeed write CXC Information Technology at age eleven (11), the youngest in the class, he was the ONLY ONE to return a distinction that KVK Academic Year, surpassing all the older school students and adult students too.
This news again grew Khrystus' Learning Institute to another level needing no advertisement over the years.
During the last ten (10) years, The Dare 2 Be Different Academy - www.daretobedifferentacademy.com has entered students for CXC English, Mathematics, Information Technology, Electronic Document Preparation Management and Office Procedures. This year, the learning institute will be adding Human and Social Biology to its offerings.
The Dare 2 Be Different Academy - www.daretobedifferentacademy.com which is headed by Mrs. Yvette Wallace, M.Ed, past Government of St. Kitts-Nevis teacher, headteacher and Education Officer for 25 years, also offers one on one primary school sessions.
Mrs. Yvette Wallace, M.Ed. focuses particularly on Reading Classes for children and adults as she believes once one can read and comprehend, nothing can stop them from learning and achieving anything and everything they want in life. She also helps parents with stimulating their children very early with creative, old time methods that seem to be obsolete now-a-days in the global current school setting.
Mrs. Wallace, taught her four boys, Stascius and Stanacius (twins), Khrystus and Lemercius to read at age three (3) and has claimed that this early stimulation has helped them to stay ahead throughout their life. All her children are computer scholars and teach the subject and repair computer units.
Stascius and Stanacius Wallace are Computer Technician Managers at RBTT Bank and The Fourseasons Resort respectively.
The Dare 2 Be Different Academy - www.daretobedifferentacademy.com also assists primary and high school students with homework, projects and SBAs of different kinds along with document printing, laminating and binding services.
