A joint Tyrell-Williams Primary School and Dare 2 Be Different International event, Career Day 2016 is being hailed a brilliant SUCCESS by students, teachers, businesses, organizations and Old Road Community Villagers in St. Kitts.
Today, Thursday, 17th March, 2016, majority of the students dressed in clothing that portrayed what they wanted to become later in their life. Different classrooms were converted into hospitals, court rooms, restaurants, police stations, construction firms, etc and those who chose those particular fields got a first hand feel of how it felt to work in that area. Personnel from different career paths spent the morning mixing, mingling and inspiring today's youth, tomorrow's leaders and in the afternoon, Reverend Khrystus Wallace led a march throughout the Old Road community accompanied by The Verchilds High School Drum Core and D.J Merci Sound System.
The Radical Reverend used his ministry's PA System to inform the community of what was happening and share parenting tips all in an effort to encourage parents and guardians to do all in their power to raise healthy and positive citizens. Dozens of onlookers lined the streets, TAXI Buses stopped with tourists to take pictures and many cheered as the well dressed leaders marched in confidence shouting TYRELL-WILLIAMS IS THE BEST!!!
All in all, today's 2016 Career Day was more than a SUCCESS.
