In its ongoing event to stare TOMORROW'S LEADERS off a path to drugs, crime and ill behavior, The United Villages of West Farm, Boyds and Palmetto Point Community Group launched its HISTORIC MOVIE UNDER THE STARS PROJECT, last night Friday, 24th July, 2015 at The Bronte Welsh Primary School grounds.
The event that got started at 7:30 pm with the showing of TWO FREE MOVIES for both children and adults, saw a huge gathering in attendance, not just from The Trinity Community, but other villages too.
A shocker came when The Salvation Army Bus drove unto the Bronte Welsh Primary School's pasture, PACKED with young people who joined the HISTORIC FIRST MOVIE UNDER THE STARS EVENT IN THE FEDERATION OF ST. KITTS AND NEVIS.
Attendees were advised to walk with their own seating arrangements and most folks simply brought a sheet or towel and relaxed, watched the movie, socialized, met new friends and had FUN - FUN - FUN and more FUN.
A well stocked bar was available throughout the night, but most adults took the time out to savour Vice President of The United Villages of West Farm, Boyds and Palmetto Point Community Group and International Chef and St. Kitts-Nevis Caterer Bernell "IAN" Richards "SUPER-DUPER" Fish Soup.
The individuals that worked hardest in the background to make this HISTORIC FIRST EVENT the success that it was, and many times go unnoticed were: Sisters Verlyn Warner, Jean Richards, Dawn Dias-Warner, Kishma Woolard and Brothers Ervin Nias, Police Officer Dijon James, Alphonso Percival.
Sponsors for the event included St. Kitts - Nevis Labour Party Constituency Representative for District # 3, The Honourable Konris Maynard, Team Unity's Ambassador Sam Condor, RAM's SUPERMARKET and Mrs. Leeshaw Hutchinson, Teacher at The Bronte Welsh Primary School and Popular Barbeque Bar Owner in The Trinity Community.
