I am sometimes very, very, very PICKY. I have a tendency of choosing the prettiest, most brilliant and creative ladies in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis to be my closest, closest, closest friends, partners and very privileged KVK ENTERPRISES - www.kvklives.com customers.
Twenty four (24) year old Crisanda McKoy is one such person.
A very brave and bold whatsapp message to my phone, seemed to have created what I predict will be a long lasting friendship and business relationship. Crisanda interestingly told me ALL ABOUT HER. She was born in St. Maarten and migrated to St. Kitts at a very early age and has always lived in the Pond's Estate area.
I tend to connect very well with ladies who are not afraid to speak up, start a conversation and say what they want. THEY JUST STAND OUT FOR ME AND I TEND TO KEEP THEM CLOSE FOR LIFE! I love chilling with and talking to FUTURE SUCCESS STORIES. Those who are bold and aggressive and heading somewhere in life. I love to stay connected with males and females with a dream, a vision, a passion to SUCCEED IN LIFE. Crisanda is one such person.
Charming Crissanda's energy, inspiration and creativity always sends chills through my entire body. The more I learn of her, the more I wish . . . . . . .
Some people are born gifted and talented and others have to spend much time and money learning a skill. Interestingly enough, Crisanda grew up in a family that has always mastered the art of cooking and baking and so she quickly developed the very same love for the kitchen.
When I asked the youthful McKoy what led her to start BOOM CUPCAKES in February, 2014, this is what she said.
"One day in December 2013, while I was watching youtube videos of how to make and design cupcakes, I came across some unique flower cupcake designs and I was immediately drawn to them."
"I started baking and practicing almost every day and grew a strong love for what I was doing. As God would have it, shortly after I decided to plan a Valentine's Day Cupcake Sale for the upcoming year. I quickly started sharing my flyers of the cupcake bouquets on notice boards all over town and on social media."
You wouldn't believe it. The response was amazing! My valentine 2014 was a complete success. Quite shockingly, the people wanted more, and more, and more. I had no choice but to open a business to offer my products and services to the people. The rest is history."
My good, good, good, good friend Crisanda, who is quite remarkable and exuberant for her age, operates her small business BLOOM CUPCAKES out of her Pond's Estate Housing - Basseterre - St. Kitts home.
Although we've just met, I've already drawn close enough to learn so much about her. CrisCris as I call her at times has always had an intense passion for baking, designing and styling cupcakes.
