Unconfirmed rumours from the street corners and bar shops around The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis are alleging that The Blazing Star Movement is secretly owned and funded by Prime Minister The Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, the longest serving and most powerful Prime Minister in the Caribbean and Brother Khrystus Wallace is just the face and paid dramatist, promoter and writer for the party.
Other rumours are suggesting that Dr. Douglas is quite unsure that he may win the next general elections, so he gave instructions to found the party last year and all of Khrystus' drama was all planned, concocted and staged to cause the new political party to get attention very fast.
More unconfirmed rumours are suggesting, that Prime Minister Dr. Denzil Douglas is actually the one that is choosing, funding and advising the other Blazing Star Movement candidates. It is being suggested that he is doing this for two main reasons.
1. If the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party loses and The Blazing Star Movement wins, he will be immediately made an Ambassador to St. Kitts and Nevis based in Dubai, to protect him for the next 100 years the B.S.M is predicted to be in control of the Island Federation
2. If the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party wins some seats and the Blazing Star Movement wins others, then both parties will form a Unity Government along with the N.R.P where Dr. Douglas would remain Prime Minister and Brother Khrystus Wallace would be Deputy Prime Minister.
The Dare 2 Be Different International Media Department contacted both Dr. Douglas and Brother Khrystus for comments on the rumours in the air and both declined to comment.
Certainly, the St. Kitts - Nevis Politics is growing more interesting day by day. For the international record, our media house has not confirmed any of the above rumours, but it is well known that there is always some truth between many rumours that are in the air.
