Report By: Brother Khrystus Wallace, The Next Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis
The Youth Outreach Dance Ministry (YODM) is
again hosting one of the most exquisite and extravagant dance recitals the
Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis has ever seen.
Under the abled leadership of dance legend
Sister Andrea Caines-Adedeji, students of her School of Dance will minister on
Saturday, 26th April, 2014 at 7pm and on Sunday, 27th
April, 2014 at 5 pm at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank Auditorium, Birdrock, Basseterre, St. Kitts.
This first recital for 2014 would paint a
vivid picture through dance, of the effects of child abuse in society and also
bring to life the theme scripture II Timothy 3:1-9.
This first recital would feature the Faith
Tabernacle Church Youth Group along with the New Birth Gospel Tabernacle
Dancers.
A contribution of EC$25 for adults and EC$15
for children would be collected at the door as the School of Dance continues to
raise funds to bless the children and costume the group.
The Youth Outreach Dance Ministry was founded
in May, 2001 when the Lord Jesus Christ stopped Sister Caines-Adedeji on her
Damascus Road and told her that he had a fresh calling for her life.
The group current practices at the Mc Knight
Community Centre and children ages 3 to 16 who attend from various churches
across the island and practice from 9am to 3pm.
