19th June, 2015
By: Brother Khrystus V. K. Wallace, President of The United Villages of West Farm, Boyds and Palmetto Point Community Group
Under the distinguished patronage of Head Teacher of The Bronte Welsh Primary School, Mr. Anthony Wiltshire, The Parent Teachers Association of the institution hosted a grand gospel concert tonight Friday, 19th June, 2015 on the school grounds.
The well attended youth and community event drew support in the form of items from Pastor Ronald Taylor's Holy City Worship Centre in Basseterre, who was ably represented by the Bolus Family who sang.
Pastor Lincoln Connor's Antioch Baptist Church was represented by Dance legend, dance minister and sensation, Sister Marcia Jeffers and The St. Johnston's Methodist Dancers did wonders.
Many of the Trinity Community Youth along with current and past Bronte Welsh Primary School students did quite AMAZING pieces.
It certainly wouldn't have been a night if the angelic voice of Kaylor Bass didn't charm and bless listening ears and a dance by Kerese Dias and Robin Warner had the audience in AWE.
9 year old Dare 2 Be Different International Pastor Shaquan Percival and his crew gave TWO MOUTH DROPPING DANCES and shocked the audience at the DANCE CONFIDENCE OF TWO MALES AND A YOUTH FEMALE.
While we're on CONFIDENCE, it must be noted that the confidence and energy of Trinity youths Aljanique and K'Shella as they held the microphone and did their pieces, showed that there is much HOPE for the future of the community and the young people are OVERLY CONFIDENT AND LOVE TO REPRESENT THEIR PARISH.
Holy City's Evron Taylor, son of Pastor Ronald Taylor and past student of the host school, presented two LIVELY DRUM SOLOS showcasing his God given talent and proving that YES THERE ARE STILL YOUNG MEN - YOUNG LEADERS who have a PASSION FOR CHRIST AND LOVE BEING GAINFULLY OCCUPIED IN CHURCH WORK which is HONESTLY the best work!
According to reviews from the audience, the only Drama for the night which was presented by part of Brother Khrystus' Dare 2 Be Different International Drama Club titled You're Not Too Far Gone, had a powerful message that not only thrilled the crowd, spurred much laughter, but also got folks THINKING AND CONSIDERING A CHANGE IN THEIR LIFESTYLE - A CHANGE TO FOLLOW JESUS.
Chairpersons for the concert, Sister Maritza Dias and Sister Jean Richards could in no way get to close the evening, as the ENERGY caused many children and youths to BEG and BEG to do impromptu pieces and the chairpersons had NO CHOICE but to let TOMORROW'S LEADERS HAVE THEIR WAY AND TAKE THE STAGE EACH TIME THEY ASKED.
It is a truism though, that ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END, therefore the concert ended with its MISSION FULFILLED!
1. To spread the message of Jesus Christ, encourage community camraderie and togetherness and
2. To raise well needed funds to help advance Trinity's Bronte Welsh Primary School further.
The big question that many people asked as they left, was "WHEN WILL THE NEXT CONCERT BE?"
I CAN'T SAY IT ANY COOLER, BUT IF YOU STAYED AWAY, YOU MISSED THE BLESSING THAT WOULD HAVE SHAKEN YOUR LIFE, INSPIRED YOUR SOUL AND INSTANTLY REJUVENATED YOU AND CAUSED YOU TO RECOGNIZE THAT JESUS IS DEFINITELY THE WAY TO GO!
PEACE OUT - Brother Khrystus Loves You!
Sound and live music for the event was provided by TRAVELING SOUNDMAN, Trinity's Lemercius "D.J. MERCI" Wallace - 1-869-665-4790
