Drugs Can Dictate Whether You Live Or Your Die

Listen my children, I'll tell you this,
There's something I don't ever want you to miss.
Something saddening, that you'd better hear,
And, you'd better believe it, for it's already here.

"It's nothing?"  "It's cool?" Your peers will say,
But it's folly, don't fall for it, it's destruction - decay.
For many a youth vowed they'd never be caught,
But before long, their lives accounted for naught.

Yes, my stories of drugs, I'm sure you have guessed,
That all who kept at it, have made life a mess.
They've had blood shot eyes, raised pressure, pot bellies,
Cancers, blackouts, heart and accident worries.

So my dear children, when you dismiss,
Factor in rum, alcohol, crack, cocaine, hashish.
With nicotine, heroine, or grass, as you decide,
Drugs can dictate, whether you live or you die.
