PAM'S Cyndie Demming Rocked Trinity Community With Power Presentation

Wallace, The Next Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis I honestly think that People's Action Movement Chairperson - Ms. Cyndie Demming would also make a great Prime Minister of The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis someday. I make no apologies for being an objective thinker! If you don't like my style of POLITICS - too bad! I'm not going to become so addicted to the Blazing Star Movement that I cannot appreciate humble yet powerful and influential community advocates and educators from other parties such as the astoundingly beautiful Ms. Demming. The Community Based Empowerment workshop organized through The Ministry of Social and Community Affairs and sponsored by The Basic Needs Trust Fund (B.N.T.F) continued last night in The Trinity Community - The Best Community in St. Kitts and Nevis. (ooops - am I being biased? That's where I'm from folks!) That session was conducted by the more than able Ms. Cyndie Demming who hails from the town of Sandy Point - St. Kitts. I'm a reporter by hobby! I honestly just write for the fun and to relax my mind and now I get paid globally to write pieces for others. (So - yes it's OK to contact me!) Therefore, I have a tendency and an automatic instinct to look at and monitor everything, because everywhere I look I honestly see something that I can write about. From the moment Ms. Demming stepped out of the vehicle that brought her to the Bronte Welsh Primary School, I  saw that attendees were in for something different. She was more than prepared when compared to ALL  OTHER  PREVIOUS  PRESENTERS. Laptop, Projector, Flip Charts and you know women now-a-days with these SUPERSIZED  BAGS. (WHY? WHY? WHY? They DO  NOT  NEED  THEM! But that is a whole other debate all by itself! Men think differently! I stuck my eyes into my mother's bag a couple times and I think I saw New York City and CALIFORNIA in there - WOMEN! WOMEN! WOMEN!) Let's get back to Cyndie! What I found completely amazing was that Ms. Demming was independent! I know she knew me and she knew that I am into computers and she didn't even ask for my help. (As a male, should I have offered? Sorry Ms. Demming if I was rude and didn't help you.) Cyndie moved ALONE and connected everything herself. WOW! YES -  WOMEN  REALLY  ARE  BECOMING  TOO  INDEPENDENT! (Oooops  - there I go with my tongue again. Ms. Demming will probably scold me for that when she sees me. But I challenge her to a PUBLIC  DEBATE to discuss that issue - WOMEN'S  INDEPENDENCE -she did make me speak publicly about Marriage TODAY being just a Business Contract - so now it's my turn to challenge her to debate WOMEN'S  INDEPENDENCE - for the better or for the worse - BRING  IT  ON  CYNDIE - I'm ready to tackle you.) What do you think about Marriage today? A Business Contract For Real? Do people get in love now and marry for the LOVE or FOR  THE  MONEY? You know I've been personally enlightened about that. Having been introduced by the community chair, Cyndie immediately outlined her rules for her session. Turn off or put the cell phones on silent was first. I admired her command of her environment - especially as a lady. She knew how to TAKE  CONTROL! You really can't knock her about eh! Becareful! Ms. Demming's session looked at Communication and Public Speaking. She was thorough in her presentation! Very thorough! She reminded me of some of my online lecturers and online classes when I was doing my degrees. She was well prepared and if she is getting paid for that session, I think she deserves nothing less than $3000 USD. That's how awesome she was! I must point out that Cyndie kept her students quite involved with questions, games, activities and public speaking training opportunities even though she was using a POWERPOINT  PRESENTATION. Now this was GREAT! I hate to attend any workshop where the presenter is just talking and talking and talking from a Powerpoint Presentation - especially in a LOW  BORING  VOICE! I don't care how many degrees someone has when presenting, especially using a power point slide presentation, they must know what they are doing to keep their audience engaged or just print the information and go home. (Oooops - Ms. Demming taught me last night that we shouldn't be too bold and abrupt. I guess that part went through one ear and exited the next - SORRIEEEEE  TEACHER  DEMMING!!!!) I said that to say something. Cyndie knew what she was doing as she mastered her presentation. There is a lot more I can say and I've been advised by Editors for Magazines and Online Newspapers that I write for around the world, to stay within an internationally acceptable word limit per article of 1200 words - so I'll stop here. I know this is far from 1200, but if I continue sharing the awesome experience that we had with this Brilliant Lady - I would never end. In closing, I think that the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis continues to produce the finest, most intelligent and brilliant ladies on planet earth and Ms. Cyndie Demming just happens to be one of them.
