God allowed my mother to give birth to four sons. Stascius and Stanacius (twins) on the 3rd of November, 1979, I was born on the 4th of July, 1986 and my younger brother Lemercius Wallace was born on the 15th of June, 1989.
We did have some family issues, so I will say that we practically grew up in a single parent home, but I would not deny that my father provided greatly for us and did give us nearly everything we wanted and he stood up for all of us still. He only partially neglected part of his responsibility. It's "KINDA" complicated to explain, but I've forgiven him and love him still. We all make very serious mistakes in life, but we are to follow our Father God's example and FORGIVE FIRST, even though we oft times do not do that. We live and we learn as time progresses.
Ever so often, I hear people ask my mother how she got to raise FOUR BOYS so well and at their age, they are ALL still actively involved in CHURCH and CHURCH WORK at the adult age. Ever so often, persons tell me that my mother is one GIFTED lady to raise four boys as a SINGLE mom and disciplinarian and get them to stay on the Lord's side.
I guess that isn't her doing, it was GOD's! My mother practically grew up in a Christian family and her GOOD TRAINING was only passing down family tradition of loving, sharing, caring, having good manners and following God.
Those were there things that she told us constantly that would take us around the world. LOVING, SHARING, CARING, HAVING GOOD MANNERS and FOLLOWING GOD.
My mother's theme motto throughout her entire life that she has passed down to us is taken from Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
No one is perfect, so what I will say here publicly is that ALL FOUR OF US BOYS, rumbled in the house, but my mom - COMMANDER IN CHIEF ALWAYS KNEW HOW TO BE PRIME MINISTER OF HER HOUSE.
She was never a RECKLESS BEATER. Before any spanking, she would sit us all down and explain to us why she was going to beat us and what our actions NOW, would cause for us in the FUTURE if she didn't stomp it out NOW. By the time she was done with her lectures each time we misbehaved, we would feel extremely guilty,like we had KILLED SOMEONE and we would all be crying. She is a brilliant EDUCATOR and PSYCHOLOGIST. She didn't care much about the fact that we were all PENITENT and CRYING, she delivered the lashes still and WE LEARNED! If you think my mother is weak, then ask her to LASH YOU!
My brothers and I know the two following scripture verses the best. Why? These were the verses that we had to always quote before she would take out JASON (which was the name of HER STRAP - named after JASON - Friday the 13th, probably to instill FEAR in us to behave ourselves).
Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Growing up, mommy never forced GOD or CHRISTIANITY upon us. All she would say is that we have our own CHOICE to make in life and our own way to follow, but as a MOTHER - SHE RECOMMENDS GODLY LIVING and for as long as we live in her house, we were going to CHURCH AND SUNDAY SCHOOL to continually hear the word of God and she made sure we ironed our clothes a night before and woke us up EARLY to ensure that we were ALWAYS IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD.
My Mother Ensured That We Were ALWAYS in Church and Sunday School. Discussing the importance and the benefits of ensuring that your child / children are always in Sunday School and Church is another article all by itself.
Even today, when my mother teachers sessions at our Dare 2 Be Different International Ministry - www.daretobedifferentskn.com, because she is a partner too, she always reminds the youth of the importance of attending CHURCH AND SUNDAY SCHOOL.

I still live with my mom in our family home, which is also the location of my main business - KVK ENTERPRISES - www.kvklives.com and Ministry - Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com and Blazing Star Movement Political Headquarters - www.theblazingstarmovement.com at age 28. I still follow her rules. As long as you're under my roof, YOU HAVE TO ATTEND CHURCH AND SUNDAY SCHOOL.
Do you ensure that your children ALWAYS attend CHURCH AND SUNDAY SCHOOL so they can get a good GODLY upbringing, one that they would not depart from?
It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to do that! Are you living up to it or do you just ensure that they attend CARNIVAL and MOVIES and PARTIES and LIME ON THE STREET CORNERS?
