Dear Global Reader, as much as I like writing devotionals, commentaries, political articles and of course being a GLOBAL COMIC, you are fully well aware too, that throughout my years of reporting / journalism, even before being nominated for Global Media Awards, I have always liked to pause and give JACK HIS or HER JACKET.
Tonight, I am more than honoured to highly commend and publicly and globally endorse the awesome work and reporting of WINNFM's Andre Huie. As a youth to youth, I say with no water in my mouth that his work is LAUDABLE, COMMENDABLE, OUTSTANDING!
I love journalism, therefore I do read and follow many, many, many local, regional and international happenings DAILY and I do listen to a lot of news along with many radio and television commentaries on a wide range of issues. From following Mr. Huie over the years, it is quite evident that he can be called MR. SERIOUS and he's NEVER AN INTERNATIONAL JOKER LIKE ME AT TIMES. He knows what he is about and loves what he does.
We were all divinely crafted by GOD to do what we do. That's for sure!
As a critic, I can barely find something with which I can call him down on. He's just GOOD!
I can see that he takes much time and effort out of his schedule to do all the proper research that he possible can before writing and sharing a story. To me, he does seem to have some type of IMMENSE ENERGY and it is evident that HE LOVES HIS JOB. Unlike some media houses who love to steal news from other media houses and re-write it to make it look good, Mr. Huie, must be commended for heading out into the FIELD over and over and over again and doing FIRST HAND REPORTS just to keep his listeners properly and correctly informed ALL THE TIME. AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME AS A YOUTH!

Andre Huie has been a professional journalist for 11 years, starting as a reporter for community based newspapers Clarendon Power News and The Real News in Jamaica. He has worked as a reporter and Assistant Editor at the Today Newspaper in St. Maarten for almost eight years before joining the WINN family. Prior to WINN, Andre also attained experience in radio, being a producer and host of radio shows in French St. Martin and Pearl 98.1fm on Dutch St. Maarten. He is the co-founder and editor of what was St. Maarten’s only sports magazine: In Sports.
Currently, Andre works as a broadcast journalist and a web administrator for winnfm.com and is one of the main producers of audio-visual content for WINN’s website video library. Considered an on the beat reporter, Andre is often in the communities across St. Kitts filing reports from his interaction with people on the ground. A devout Christian and avid sports fan, Andre is also the producer and host of The Edge a contemporary gospel music program aired on Tuesdays at 8pm and Offside, a football program on Thursdays at 10am. He assists as a sportscaster in the WINN sports department when needed.
