Radical Praise Festival Youth Rally Through The Streets Of Basseterre Culminating on Princess Street - Saturday, 17th October, 2015

The Radical Praise Gospel Band Is Definitely Shaking St. Kitts and Nevis For Jesus Christ!

A young band, just a few years old, out of The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis sporting the name, RADICAL  PRAISE  GOSPEL  BAND  is on a big move for Jesus Christ. The youth organization which is managed by Shanwa Broadbelt and assistant manager Atnel Pemberton, kicked off its Radical Praise Festival on Saturday, 17th October, 2015, with a street praise from the Cotton Thomas Comprehensive School culminating on Princess Street - Basseterre - St. Kitts with a youth rally.

Although the gospel band has many background partners and supporters, those that stand in the front for Jesus Christ are Carl Wilkin on the bass guitar, Anelto Wilkin on the drums, Steadroy Brookes on the keyboard, Warren Hazel on the guitar, Frankyln Huggins, Curtley Mills and Quinton on the keyboards and Curdel Mills, Candace Richards and Omarie Fleming hold the microphones as vocalists.

Popular soundman in St. Kitts and Nevis, Mr. Jeneve Christopher is the engineer.

On Saturday, 17th October, 2015, the gospel band, along with popular youth preachers Pastor Rudell Williams, Pastor Boris Johnson and Reverend Khrystus V. K. Wallace and poetic presenters Crius Richardson and James Galloway, partnered to bless the Basseterre City area through song, poetry and the spoken word.

The Radical Praise Gospel Band stopped on Fienes and Central Avenue for Pastor Boris Johnson to deliver his sermonette, then at West Borne Ghaut for Pastor Rudell Williams and Reverend Khrystus V. K. Wallace got his opportunity on Fort Street - Basseterre, the heart of the city. It was there he spoke on the topic "I  HAVE  COME" taken from St. John 10:10 - The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Culminating on Princess Street, Chairperson of the Youth Rally, Mr. Clifford Griffin, introduced Brother Khrystus to give the opening prayer and Assistant Commissioner of Police at The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Mr. Ian Queeley to address the gathering.

Lawyer Jihan Williams gave a very rousing, overly impressive and down to earth RAW poetic presentation empowering women to respect themselves and not to stoop to low levels.

Reverend Khrystus V. K. Wallace was invited to give the featured empowerment presentation of the evening and he spoke on three key points.

1. You are fearfully and wonderfully made

2. Be a trendsetter - don't follow the crowd - STAND  OUT

3. SHINE

Assistant Manager of The Radical Praise Gospel Band, Mr. Atnel Pemberton gave the vote of thanks and closing and encouraged all in attendance to support the other upcoming events which include a Panel Discussion at The University Center on Monday, 19th October, 2015 on the topic, MUSIC  THROUGH  THE  AGES - WHAT  HAS  CHANGED. The host is Dawn Mills and panelists are Pastor Phillip Webbe, Mr. Lionel Benjamin (BENJAX), Mr. Azem Bailey, Mr. Anthony Adams and Mrs. Jasmine "JAZZY-D" Thomas.

Assistant Manager Pemberton infomed that the final event is a grand concert on The Lime Grounds on Saturday, 24th October, 2015 and invited all to join his band. He told the gathering that tickets cost EC$30 up until Thursday, 22nd October, 2015 and EC$40 after.
