History Class: Sugar Workers Rebel in St Kitts in 1935

Brother Khrystus V. K. Wallace, Aspiring Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis

Extracted from: http://www.socialisthistorysociety.co.uk/HART.HTM#s06

On 28 January 1935 cane cutters refused to start reaping the new sugar cane crop on the Shadwell plantation, on the outskirts of Basseterre, the capital of St Kitts. The employers had offered work at 8 pence (16 cents) per ton, a rate which the workers had been forced to accept under protest for reaping the previous years' crop. News of their refusal to work spread quickly to adjoining plantations where workers also refused to start the crop. A new spirit of determination to fight for their rights spread throughout the island as groups of workers went from plantation to plantation on foot. They prevented work from starting or, in the few places where the cutting of canes had commenced, they persuaded the workers to cease work. A general strike of sugar workers very soon developed.

Workers at the island's sugar factory also came out on strike, demanding a wage increase. Their wages had been reduced by one penny in the shilling in 1930 and subsequently by a further one penny. On 29 January some 200 to 300 workers, some armed with sticks, entered the yard at Buckley's plantation. The manager and overseer ordered them to leave but they refused to do so. Stones were thrown and, either before or after the stone throwing - it is not clear when, the manager fired his gun into the crowd injuring several workers. Armed police arrived under the command of a former British Army major, but the workers refused to obey his order to disperse, demanding that the manager be arrested.

At about 6 p.m. a contingent from the local military force arrived at Buckleys. The crowd had by then swollen to four to five hundred. The Riot Act was read and the military fired into the crowd. Two labourers and the factory watchman were killed and eight others were wounded. Next day a British warship arrived and marines were landed. A period of intimidation followed. Thirty-nine strikers were arrested and six were sentenced to terms of imprisonment of from two to five years

History Class: British West Indian Labour Unrest Of 1934– 1939

The British West Indian LABOUR  UNREST of 1934 - 39 encompassed a series of disturbances, strikes and riots in the United Kingdom's Caribbean colonies. These began as the Great Depression wore on and ceased on the eve of WORLD  WAR  II.

The unrest served to highlight inequalities of WEALTH, led the British government to attempt a solution to the problem, and in some cases spurred the development of indigenous party politics that would lead to self-government and independence in the postwar period.

Psalm 23 King James Version (KJV)

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

The 23rd Psalm - Stay Prepared To Meet Thy Maker

Psalm 23 King James Version (KJV)

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Hang Tight!

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1 KJV)

Hold On!

The story is told of a construction worker who slipped from a scaffold while doing his daily duties onsite a very tall building being erected. As he was falling, he was able to grasp a thick rope that was securely fastened to the building.

The frightening experience quickly drew much attention from his co-workers and onlookers. I could only imagine how scared the worker in crisis felt. He then heard the words of the site supervisor - HOLD ON - HANG  TIGHT - WE  ARE  GOING  TO  SAVE  YOU!

I believe those words brought a sense of reassurance and HOPE to the gentleman that everything would be alright once he HELD ON.

You may not be falling from a building right now, but when you examine your life - you are in a crisis and you feel that no one else but God can help. Well. . . HE  WILL  HELP once you ask.

Don't give up! Don't lose hope! Don't let go! The Psalmist David reminds us, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1 KJV)

God has heard your prayer. He knows your trouble. He is in the process of working it out. HANG  TIGHT!

You may be asking right now, "Why is God taking so long?" "Why doesn't he just make things normal again?" "I am tired of hearing he's working it out."

Friend - Don't get frustrated! God sometimes allows us to go right down to our LOWEST, like Job, like Daniel, like the three Hebrew Boys, like Paul and Silas, so that when he shows up and delivers, we would have NO  DOUBT  in our mind that it was Him - IT  WAS  GOD!

God is going to show up in a BIG - BIG - BIG  way for you - with a SUPERNATURAL  DELIVERANCE  and  BREAKTHROUGH very, very, very soon.

Just HANG  TIGHT!

EULOGY of Shamon Herbert By Dare 2 Be Different International

Shamon Ajamu Akielon Herbert was born on the 27th of September, 1986 to parents Carol Herbert and Anthony Liburd.

In quest of an early education, he attended a preschool at Pond’s Pasture owned by Ms. Neil. His education continued at Newtown at The Tucker Clarke Primary School. His High School years were spent at The Basseterre Senior High.

During his short life, Shamon tried his hand at many things: fishing, farming, construction, painting and being a maintenance man. His sporting life saw him playing football for fun. He even tried his hands at cooking but at times ended up eating his food ALONE. Nonetheless, he NEVER  GAVE  UP.

Shamon had a heart of love for his nephew A.J who would truly miss him. His grand mother too, whom he had visited, admired and admonished to TAKE CARE. On that occasion, Shanon commended his grand mother, telling her she was LOOKING  GOOD!
He was always respectful, always wore a smile, got along with everyone and solved problems easily.

Shamon loved the girls. He was jolly, loving and fun filled. He kept a good relationship with his mom and felt comfortable asking her to assist him.

On some Sundays, when he asked his mom to share some food for him. Jokingly she said, “Boy you ain’t bringing no money in here. Find somebody to wash and cook you food. He was never daunted by those words. Shortly after he would ask, “Mom you done share out the food for me?” It showed the confidence he had in his mother to provide for him where necessary even though he was an adult. His aunt can testify of his humour. She recalls if she begged him a dollar, he would jokingly say to her, “Man you ain’t need no dollar, you building a big house.”
There seemed to have existed the type of relationship among the family that little jokes were easily passed and appreciated.

Shamon was everybody’s friend. In the neighbourhood, he sought how he might assist. He readily volunteered to repair the bikes of the community members, especially his own little relatives.

There is little wonder that Shamon would be missed. Memories of him would forever live in our hearts. Momentarily, hourly, weekly, monthly, yearly. Thoughts of him will never go away.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Brother Khrystus Re-Visits Head Magistrate - Lawyer Butler Calls C.I.D POLICE - STILL NO COMPUTERS RETURNED

30th October, 2014

By: Dare 2 Be Different International Media Department Staff Reporter - www.daretobedifferentskn.com

Brother Khrystus Wallace re-visited the sitting Basseterre St. Kitts Head Magistrate today, Thursday, 30th October, 2014 to get further instructions about the return of his business and his Wallace family's computers and electronic devices.

The sitting Head Magistrate's office tried to get in contact with Superintendent Charles Smithen, Head of the Criminal Investigation Division at The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force to no avail. The Magistrate instructed Brother Khrystus to go to the Police Headquarters to collect his computers immediately as Superintendent Smithen did tell her court on Monday, 27th October, 2014 that The Wallace's can collect all but one of their items on Wednesday, 29th October, 2014 at 9 am SHARP.

Privy to this information, Brother Khrystus paid a visit to his lawyer, Sir Nassibou Butler of Butler, Butler and Butler - www.lawyerbutlerskn.com at Market Street - St. Kitts so that he can contact the police on his behalf and re-schedule a time for the collection of the units.

Lawyer Butler tried contacting Superintendent Smithen and Commissioner of Police Dr. C.G Walwyn via their cell phones to no avail. Having done that he used the main police line and was connected to a Junior Officer Morton in C.I.D who dealt with The Wallace's just yesterday, promising to call when someone who could deliver the computers came in to work. (Over 24 hours now - that person seemingly hasn't showed up for work as The Wallace's or no employee at KVK ENTERPRISES - www.kvklives.com has received any call)

Lawyer Butler, who talked and tried for over thirty minutes, to get the POLICE to obey the court order and hand over the Wallace's computers, had to hang up his phone in total frustration at what was happening with the TOP LAW  AND  ORDER  KEEPING  BODY in the Federation - The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, stating that the entire fiasco is FRIGHTENING because this can happen to ANYBODY and the entire FEDERATION should be concerned.

The sitting Head Magistrate instructed that the matter should come back to her next week once KVK ENTERPRISES - www.kvklives.com and The Wallace's do not receive their computer units as agreed upon in court on Monday, 27th October, 2014 by Superintendent Charles Smithen, Head of The Criminal Investigation Division.

What came out of the call with Lawyer Nassibou Butler - www.lawyerbutlerskn.com and the C..I.D Officer Morton was that AN  OFFICER  AUDAIN is the only one who has access to KVK ENTERPRISES  and The Wallace's computers. THE  ONLY  OFFICER   IN   A  SUPER  LARGE  ST. KITTS - NEVIS  POLICE  FORCE  AND  HE  CANNOT  BE  LOCATED  SINCE YESTERDAY.

Has a missing person's report been filed for him since it's over 24 HOURS  NOW?

Lawyer Butler asked the C.I.D. Police what would happen if Officer Audain died and the learned policeman told Lawyer Butler that he would be buried. (LOL). An angry LAWYER  BUTLER stated that he wasn't joking around and he was concerned about getting the computers TODAY before angrily hanging up his office telephone all frustrated at what is currently happening in The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

The question still lingers on - What ever happened to KVK  ENTERPRISES - www.kvklives.com and The Wallace's computers when the business was FORCED  CLOSED and ALL of the desktop computers, laptops, external hard drives, pen drives, critical hard copy files were forcibly taken from their business and home on Monday, 27th May, 2013 when Brother Khrystus Wallace was arrested and charged for SEDITION and thrown into jail for six (6) months and denied bail by The Federal Government of St. Kitts and Nevis.

This is currently what is happening in St. Kitts - Nevis - THE  WHOLE  TRUTH!

Time To DROP It

22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22)

Drop Your Problems on Jesus!

As I was driving today, a song from a game we once played as a child came to my mind. The latter part of the song says, "T-I-M-E: Time to Drop It." When ever those of us who were playing got to that part of the song, the game became very, very exciting and joyous.

I do believe that if we heed the words of the latter part of that song, we too would experience such a joy and even better than that of the children if we DROP our burdens off at Jesus' feet. There are many persons who wonder about where they can turn with their burdens. May I hasten to answer that question - TURN  TO  JESUS.

The Psalmist in penning the passage of scripture in Psalm 55:22 must have had the opportunity to learn for himself that when he casts his burdens on Jesus, he will sustain. I am happy that the Psalmist didn't hold that piece of information to himself, but wrote it so that we all can realize the answer to our problems.

The latter part of the passage under review today, presents a powerful HOPE message. It says. . . ." he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22)"

Thus, I believe I can safely paraphrase and say that once you cast your problems and issues on Jesus, he will not only take care, he will sustain. God simply requires of all of us to live RIGHTEOUS lives and once we make that our aim from today, know for sure that we will be forever standing on the firmest foundation ever - JESUS  CHRIST.

What a Hope!

SKN Federal Government POLICE REFUSE To Deliver Wallace's Computers Per Court Agreement TODAY

29th October, 2014

By: Dare 2 Be Different International Media Department Staff Reporter - www.daretobedifferentskn.com

28 year old Khrystus Wallace - Aspiring Prime Minister of  St. Kitts and Nevis

The St. Kitts - Nevis Federal Government Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has reneged on a COURT  AGREEMENT made on Monday, 27th October, 2014 at the Basseterre Court by Superintendent Charles Smithen, Head of the Criminal Investigation Division,  to return KVK ENTERPRISES' - www.kvklives.com and The Wallace's of Boyds - St. Kitts computers on Wednesday, 29th October, 2014 at 9 am SHARP.

The Wallace's per instructions from their local lawyer, Sir Nassibou Butler - www.lawyerbutlerskn.com were on time at 9 am SHARP to receive the said desktop computers, laptops, external hard drives, pen drives, cell phones, hard copy files and more.

Upon entering the Basseterre Police Station, they requested the assistance of Superintendent Charles Smithen, Head of The Criminal Investigation Division and the key investigating officer on Brother Khrystus' Sedition Case against the Federal Government of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Shortly after, an Officer Morton was sent to deal with the family, who took them behind the station, knocked on a couple doors and then told them that no one was there to give them their computers and requested a number to call when someone who could help them came to work.

Brother Khrystus Wallace handed the officer a business card and asked if they should stay around The Basseterre Area and the officer said that he couldn't say, but the Police will call when they were ready for them.

Up to 1:15 pm today, Wednesday, 29th October, 2014, no police has contacted The Wallace's at Boyds or KVK ENTERPRISES - www.kvklives.com, reneging on the Court Agreement made with sitting Magistrate Josephine Mallelieu at The Basseterre - St. Kitts - Court.

Our media house contacted Sir Nassibou Butler of Butler, Butler and Butler Law Firm at Market Street - St. Kitts and he said he would prefer not to comment much on the matter at this moment as this entire Wallace Family Fiasco with The Federal Government of St. Kitts and Nevis and The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force looks like a big joke and game now and doesn't speak well for The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis as it continues to try and destroy Khrystus Wallace, a brilliant son of the soil by crippling his small business further, simply because he entered politics and wants to be Prime Minister someday.

The big questions are:

1. Are KVK ENTERPRISES' - www.kvklives.com  and The Wallace's computers missing?

2. Are they working?

3. Were they destroyed?

4. Will The Federal Government People's TAX  MONEY's or certain police officers have to pay the Wallace's big money in compensation for their items holding over a decade of critical business information and trade secrets which may have been INFRINGED or even STOLEN and SOLD?

5. How much would have to be paid? 1 Million? 2 Million? 3 Million? 4 Million? 5 Million? 6 Million? 7 Million? 8 Million? 9 Million? 10 Million? of the people's TAX MONIES?

6. Is this a further ELECTION  PLOY to scare Brother Khrystus Wallace, Founder and Leader of The Blazing Star Movement - www.theblazingstarmovement.com out of politics?

The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis is led by Prime Minister The Right Honourable Dr. Denzil L. Douglas St. Kitts - Nevis Labour Party Administration and he is the longest serving Prime Minister in the Caribbean.

Our media house will be certain to give an update on this matter in the future.

Each Second We Border Between Life And Death

29th October, 2014

By: Brother Khrystus V. K. Wallace, The Next Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis

28 Year Old Brother Khrystus Wallace - Aspiring Future Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis

Fellow citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis, our sister Caribbean Islands and further afield - The Entire World, I bring greetings!

I would like to focus your minds for a brief while. Very early this morning a thought crossed my mind during my personal early morning devotions today. Here goes.

EACH  SECOND,  WE  BORDER  BETWEEN  LIFE  AND  DEATH!

As I read through the passage of scripture I was studying this morning, that thought constantly kept crossing my mind. God then reminded me of this truism and pointed me to James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

I am really not led to address your minds too long today, but to encourage all of us to recognize as we walk and talk, that EACH  SECOND,  WE  BORDER  BETWEEN  LIFE  AND  DEATH!

A  heart attack?

Being knocked down by a drunk or crazy driver?

A stray bullet?

Someone who is angry with you deciding to carry out the mission and kill you?

Someone deciding to put something in your food or drink and poison you?

THIS  IS  THE  REAL  WORLD! It's not everyone who talks and smiles and sits with you in CHURCH really loves and appreciates you. That's the COLD  TRUTH!

May we consider changing our LIVES  TODAY and choosing to walk the GODLY path - not the religious path, but the GODLY  PATH. God lives WITHIN US. That's what my global ministry Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com TEACHES. - Let us all remember that.

I am not here at all to judge whether you eat pork or not, whether you wear a hat or not, whether you wear pants as ladies or not. Whether you worship on a Saturday or Sunday. Whether you talk in tongues or not. Whether you prefer traditional or contemporary music or not.

I personally feel that so many NEW  RELIGIONS  THAT  RISE  UP daily with all sorts of beliefs and systems is ONE  OF  THE  PRIMARY  REASONS  WHY  OUR  WORLD  IS  IN  A  MESS. YES RELIGION! Too many have fallen away from living in a PERSONAL  RELATIONSHIP  WITH GOD  and sadly follow RELIGION - Catholic - Baptist - Anglican - Wesleyan - Presbyterian etc etc etc.

RELIGIOUS  SYSTEMS  DO  NOT  SAVE  YOU!  GOD  SAVES  YOU when you ask him to come and personally live in your heart and choose to DO  RIGHT  AND  DO  GOOD! That's how TRUE  JOY REALLY  COMES  TO  YOUR  LIFE.

What I am saying now, is quite NEW and STRANGE to many of you, my global readers, but I want to suggest that WHAT  I  AM  SAYING  IS  THE  TRUTH  AND  THE  TRUTH  ALWAYS  SETS YOU FREE! GOD  LIVES  WITHIN  US  ALL once we allow him to.

I do believe that there should be standards by which we all live. I am not running away from that fact. What I do believe though is that it is ABSOLUTELY  WRONG to develop and implement standards for our own personal gain and satisfaction because it isn't Biblical. Are you manipulated into GIVING in order to get your healing or financial deliverance? That's YET  ANOTHER  ARTICLE!

Search the scriptures for yourselves! Nothing is wrong with GIVING  AND  SUPPORTING MINISTRIES, but you DO  NOT  HAVE to give MONEY to get healing and financial breakthroughs. I NOW  UNDERSTAND  THE  TRUTH!

Life is SHORT and it is imperative that we take off the MASK that the WORLDLY  AND  RELIGIOUS SYSTEMS want us to stay wearing so that we could NEVER  SEE  THE  TRUTH! A relationship with GOD doesn't come with many, many add ons. It's quite SIMPLE  TO  MAKE  THE  CHANGE  TODAY. It is IMPORTANT  to make the CHANGE  TODAY - TODAY - TODAY as you'll regret it FOREVER IF  YOU  DON'T.

Each Second We Border Between Life And Death

At my global Dare 2 Be Different International Ministry - www.daretobedifferentskn.com, we simply teach.

1. Trust God

2. Believe that He sent his Son Jesus Christ to Earth to be our PERFECT example, teach us the right, show us how to DARE  TO  BE  DIFFERENT and to die for the sins of the world so that we can be FREE and LIVE  FREE

3. Do Right and Do Good all the time and you'll stay out of trouble and walk on the right path

4. When you slip up, ask for God's Forgiveness quickly - REPENT - and accept it, do better and forget the mistakes - set your mind on the FUTURE - JUST  MOVE  ON.

5. Constantly develop your spiritual life by reading and studying the Bible and Praying Often (Doing it by yourself and for yourselves is critically important too as GOD  SPEAKS  TO  US  A LOT  DURING  OUR  QUIET  TIMES  WITH  HIM)

6. Then You'll be well prepared to go to heaven when you finally pass on.

Note, we also believe that God wants us to ENJOY  OUR  LIFE  ON  EARTH, while we're here doing his will and his mission. We believe that he never intended, as some religions teach for us to be born poor, grow up poor and stay poor.

God has given us HEALTH  AND  STRENGTH  AND GIVEN EACH  OF  US different gifts and talents in different numbers in order to make life and become successful, but it is up to US to WORK  AND  WORK  HARD as we trust Him daily.

NOTE  AGAIN FINALLY - This could possibly be your last chance to MAKE  GOD  YOUR  CHOICE!

What if it really is?

EACH  SECOND,  WE  BORDER  BETWEEN  LIFE  AND  DEATH!

Dieppe Bay's LIONEL  HARVEY launches "A Wuk For Anything Services" Call 1-869-665-0736 TODAY!

Despite my trials, tribulations and struggles, nothing would stop me from ever saying that I have a very fun, exciting, happy and overly enthusiastic LIFE. That's just the plain old truth. I firmly believe that LIFE  IS JUST  WHAT  YOU  MAKE  IT  AND  NO  TRIAL  OR  STRUGGLE  OR  TRIBULATION  EVER  GETS  ME  DOWN.  STORMS  ALWAYS  PASS!

Yesterday, while walking through a particular village in St. Kitts, a gentleman stopped me in a very strange way that I would never forget as long as I live. He shouted, "PASTOR - PASTOR - you want piece of KFC?" LOL.

My girlfriends always tell me that someone is going to CATCH  ME  BY  MY  BELLY. Do you think so?

I DO  NOT  LOOK  DOWN  ON  ANYONE. You could have 25 Doctorates or you can be sweeping the drain or be The Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, I try my best to give everyone the very same respect. That's why its a REASON - I don't prefer to be called DOCTOR  OR  PASTOR  OR  APOSTLE OR  PROPHET  or any big name. Brother Khrystus or Khrystus Wallace or just Khrystus is FINE.

Jesus never carried any of those BIG  TITLES  -  EN  TIT? He was just known as JESUS OF NAZARETH and I believe if we are to walk in his example, probably if some of us drop the BIG  TITLES, our ministry would be MORE  IMPACTING and we'll reach MORE because people will see us a PEOPLE and not as GODS. (Ooops - I hope I don't get thrown into JAIL for six months for talking and offending again)

So, if you come to KVK ENTERPRISES - www.kvklives.com and you are placing a $8000 dollar order and I have a customer who just wants to order one or two shirts, EXCUSE  ME  PLEASE - you'll wait your turn or head to another print shop. Oooops. . . my University Business Professors would say that isn't being professional, but we should stop feeling like any of us is better than any. WE  ARE  ONE  RACE -  THE HUMAN  RACE.

Therefore,I honestly stopped, looked at the gentleman for while and was puzzled at his question and wondered if I was really living in the real world of was it a trap? He then stretched out his hand with the KFC and said again, "Pastor, TEK piece, a just use me last money and buy it and a want you to have some."

Well, well, well, after using my spirit of DISCERNMENT - AND MY  LOVE  FOR  KFC, (LOL), he had really influenced me accept the bag, take out the SINGLE  PIECE  OF  SPICY  KFC  THIGH (LAWD  HAVE  MERCY), and break it in TWO as if I was sharing The Lord's Supper to a congregation and I gave it back to him so he could take the bigger piece.

He got a bit angry and shouted, "MAN  PASTOR  STOP  BE  SO, JUST  TEK  WHAT  YOU  WANT." I took piece and ate it with him and he was so very HAPPY. We talked a bit and he told me how TIGHT THINGS  WERE  IN  ST.  KITTS - NEVIS and he was everywhere LOOKING FOR  A  JOB.

I asked, "What are you into? What do you do?"

He answered, "Pastor, I does PAINT - CLEAN  YARD - FIX  ROOFS  and do any kind of Handy Man Services."

I then remembered his face a bit, he does do some handy man services for Lawyer Nassibou Butler - www.lawyerbutlerskn.com, a TOP  LAWYER  AND  REALTOR in the Federation of St. Kitts - Nevis. That's one of the places he probably knew me from.

I uttered a similar phrase to him like Peter uttered to the gentleman in  Acts 3:6 Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

I said, "I really don't have any jobs right now at all for you, but I'll take your number and keep you in mind.

What I can do for you, if you let me take your number, is to take a picture of you if you'd allow and write a marketing article on you and recommend your services to St. Kitts - Nevis and the World. Do you mind going worldwide tomorrow morning?"

The gentleman was so happy, he said if you do that and I get ONE  JOB  PASTOR, I coming back to look for you to support your ministry because I does hear a lot of good things and bad things about you, but I judge for myself and YOU  IS  A  GOOD  MAN!

I smiled and THANKED  HIM  FOR  THE  KFC  AGAIN. (Do you see how God provides for his children as he says in  Luke 12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

Stay POSITIVE - Stay OPTIMISTIC - Stay HOPEFUL

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (Ephesian 5:8 KJV)

A positive attitude always propels you to your destiny!

I turned on the television last night and took a glimpse for a while at Cartoon Network. Johnny Bravo brought an instant smile to my face. As he was walking down the road, he was singing, "If you're gorgeous and you know it say I AM." He kept singing and singing and singing as he went on his journey doing his usual duty of trying to get a lady.

Even though he was turned down by every single one of them, at the end of the cartoon, still POSITIVE, he said, "Maaaan - Am I Beautiful." Then the screens closed.

We should always endeavour to remain positive, optimistic and hopeful despite our individual circumstances. Doing contrary does us  NO  GOOD at all. It simply fills us with fear and stress.

As the Apostle Paul wrote to the people at Ephesus, he reminded them of the change that had now come upon them since they made Christ their choice. He says, you are no longer in the darkness. That means you are no longer bound by sin, depression, hurt. You are a new person, you are a person of LIGHT, thus walk in this NEWNESS. This Light would cause you to look unto Jesus from whence cometh your help. This light would cause you to know that God is well able to take care of your situation and you need not worry.

This light would cause you to Stay Positive - Stay Optimistic - Stay Hopeful even when everything around you seems dark and gloomy.

We all have our flaws. We all have made some serious mistakes. We all have done things we regret at times. Society has taken on the job to pull down and remind, but God has taken on the job to grant mercy, forgive and forget.

Through out this week, like Johnny Bravo - Keep on Singing - God's eyes are right on you. He knows your name. Things will soon work out!
