Never be afraid to LOOK TO JESUS!
The Shunamite woman in our devotional today was rewarded with a child for being hospitable to Elisha, a great Man of God. She is very grateful and carefully cares for the new addition to the family. One day, the little lad has a head pain. He is carried to his father, then to his mother. He dies in the arms of a very concerned mother.
The Shunamite woman displays some BOLD FAITH in the midst of her circumstance. She carries the child to a room and lays him on a bed. She makes no preparation for his burial. She PERSONALLY goes to see the man of God Elisha, calmly telling everyone she sees that IT WAS WELL. She never rests until her son receives life again.
WOW - THIS IS WHAT BOLD FAITH DOES!
Do Not Let Your Circumstance Break You! This is the word from Jesus to all of us today. For you, things just seem to be getting worse instead of better and you can't take it any more. I challenge you today to make a BOLD PERSONAL FAITH STEP TODAY.
Go seek out and talk to God for yourself. Be honest with him. Tell him all your sins and faults and ask for forgiveness and ask for him. Ask him to direct you to someone CONFIDENTIAL that you can talk to and just let out all YOUR JUNK. Pray about that before you start talking to ANYONE - we do have many WOLVES in SHEEP CLOTHING MOVING AROUND!
Just Repent! Say sorry to GOD and to OTHERS. Having done that, ask of GOD what you desire in BOLD FAITH and BELIEVE YOU HAVE RECEIVED IT and IT SHALL BE WELL WITH THEE.
During a trying global economic crisis as that of ours today, where everyone is after MONEY to survive and to make it and to take care of our families, and not lose our homes and businesses, many of us find ourselves in financially trying situations and we don't know what to do.
Many of us are SCARED - FRUSTRATED - CONFUSED - DEPRESSED - HURTING, even though we smile. Am I wrong?
DO NOT LET YOUR SITUATION BREAK YOU EITHER! We've all made some very bad financial mistakes, learn from them, look around and learn from the mistakes of others too. If you don't need that item - DO NOT HIRE PURCHASE IT. Sometimes we have to LEAVE THE BANK's APPEALING LOAN OFFERS ON T.V - ON FACEBOOK - THROUGH THE MAIL - ON THE BILL BOARDS and continue fighting and climbing with DIFFERENT ALTERNATIVES until we reach the top.
While talking to a mature pastor from overseas sometime back, he told me that HE NEVER EVER TOOK A MORTGAGE and he owns several properties now and his children will be well off. He said that he invested in a few BLOCK MOLDS and each afternoon for years, he would rally his entire family together and make a few blocks themselves until they hand enough to complete a section of their home and they did that for years, pooling their monies TOGETHER to accomplish the GREATER GOOD FOR GENERATION'S TO COME. They didn't waste time on the telephone and with friends. It was church, to work to home and with that lesson, his children are carrying on his legacy with their dad's teaching! AMAZING - I THOUGHT! We may not all be able to do this, BUT MOVING FORWARD, let's start thinking outside the BOX and do things DIFFERENTLY! We can BLAME no one for our circumstance EXCEPT OURSELVES - that's the cold truth!
ALL OF US MAKE SERIOUS MISTAKES THAT WE HAVE TO OWN UP TO AND PAY FOR SOONER OR LATER!
I don't talk from hearsay, I've been there and I too am fighting my way out of business debt and I HAVE LEARNED and I AM NOT GOING TO LET MY CIRCUMSTANCE BREAK ME OR STOP ME FROM ENCOURAGING YOU NOT TO GIVE UP AROUND THE WORLD. I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE UP EITHER!
Quite recently, I was sitting on my porch, enjoying nature and thinking about life. While there, I admired my dogs moving back and forth - DEBT FREE. I admired the lizards and the butter flies happily doing their thing WITH NO MORTGAGE. I saw the birds flying here and there and not depending on COOKED OR PROCESSED FOOD FROM THE SYSTEM. All the animals were HUMBLY depending on GOD and thriving and surviving!
WOW! I said to myself, we can really learn A LOT from nature. How the animals LIVE - GOD WANTS ALL OF US TO LIVE. FREE! FREE! FREE! Animals in nature are only OPPRESSED AND SURPRESSED when we as humans do it.
Therefore, after you've won this battle having weathered the storm, let's ALL CHANGE OUR MINDSET and learn from nature and do what GOD WANTS US TO DO - LIVE FREE - Free from hire purchase. Free from loans. Free from the some of the legal hands who sometimes FEEL LIKE THEY ARE GOD AND HAVE NO MERCY ON US. Don't worry - THERE IS ALWAYS THE LAW OF KARMA - What goes around - comes right back around sooner or later!
I want to recommend to all of us today to NEVER GIVE UP!
This THING that you are going through is a LIGHT THING in the eyes of God. It is not meant to break you, but rather to teach you, mold you and build you.
Mark my words, AFTER this trial. AFTER this tribulation. AFTER this pain. Once you keep your hands in the hands of Jesus the problem solver, YOU SHALL COME FORTH AS GOLD! Refined and Ready to face every tomorrow thereafter.
