Under the abled leadership of Vice President of The United Villages of West Farm, Boyds and Palmetto Point INC, and the person responsible for SOCIAL ACTIVITIES in the community, Chef Bernell "IAN" Richards led a contingent of his community folk up to the TREACHEROUS OTTLEY'S LEVEL MOUNTAIN TOP.
Only the brave and daring and energy filled from the community decided to risk their lives and take the treacherous trail to the top of Ottley's Level Mountain in Trinity Community St. Kitts. Many who had much mouth coming up to the event shied away and never responded to calls and whatsapp messages until they were sure the group completed the trip.
The team missed its aim of leaving 5:30 am sharp this morning after they had to force Brother Khrystus, President of the group, out of his bed and shun all of his lame excuses of why he would come the next time and not today.
The starting point was just three minutes from the president's house and the team didn't move until approximately 5:45 am, giving him just enough minutes to rush out of his bed, brush his teeth and come to the starting point..
The trail to the treacherous mountain top was indeed steep, slippery, hard and tiring. While some turned back initially, the most daring and brave and energetic from The Trinity Community pushed their way up to the very end to significantly highlight the resilience of the BEST COMMUNITY IN THE FEDERATION OF ST. KITTS AND NEVIS - THE TRINITY COMMUNITY.
Many said that it couldn't be done, but The Trinity Group Members kept a POSITIVE SPIRIT ALIVE AND DID IT!
On behalf of The United Villages of West Farm, Boyds and Palmetto Point INC, our executive, members, supporters and well wishers, we humbly take this opportunity to wish you HAPPY ST. KITTS - NEVIS NATIONAL HEROES DAY, as we commemorate those that worked hard in prior years to bring our Federation to the point it is today.
CHEERS TO THEM ALL AS WE WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE!
Much Love!
