Fellow Nevisians and by and large my St. Kitts Brothers and Sisters Too - I bring Independence 31 greetings to you and yours.
I bring greetings from our Mother Organization - The Blazing Star Movement - St. Kitts www.theblazingstarmovement.com and I now take this opportunity, as the first leader of our branch in Nevis, to officially and historically launch The Blazing Star Movement - Nevis, today, two days before our Nation Celebrates 31 years of total freedom from Britain.
We, like our mother organization, will carry the PARTY COLOUR - PURPLE. The society of the day, did clothe JESUS in a robe of purple as he struggled up the road to Golgotha and was crucified. Although he suffered and died, he ROSE VICTORIOUS from the grave and conquered death and hell and certainly became ROYALTY. WE TOO WOULD RISE VICTORIOUSLY TO POWER WHEN GOD GIVES THE APPROVAL.
Therefore, THE COLOUR PURPLE suggests that The Blazing Star Movement and its growing set of youth and adult BLAZERS are all ROYALTY and we will talk it, walk it and live it as NO ONE CAN STOP US FROM DOING SO.
Our twin island Federation has truly progressed greatly. Failing to admit and confess this would certainly make me a liar. We are truly on the move! Rarely would you find, anywhere on planet earth, where young people can freely and publicly give birth to their dreams of starting their own political movement in a free, fair and democratic twin island Federation of St. Kitts.
Brother Khrystus, The Next Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis and yours truly, Brother Ron Weekes are both under thirty. If God would have it, we both would probably become elected candidates and parliamentarians before we reach age thirty because OUR TEAM IS MORE THAN READY TO COMPETE SHOULD PRIME MINISTER THE RIGHT HONOURABLE DR. DENZIL DOUGLAS CALL ELECTIONS TODAY.
Please settle down though - SIMMER DOWN. The Blazing Star Movement - St. Kitts and The Blazing Star Movement - Nevis are in NO RUSH TO GAIN POWER. What we are in a rush to do though, is to make our impact by doing what is CHRISTLIKE - by HELPING TO EMPOWER YOU. We want to prove a point that we are SERVANTS FIRST, as Jesus recommends and not just DOGS HUNGRY FOR POLITICAL POWER.
I do not intend to make this article too long Please do look forward to the official launch of The Blazing Star Movement Official Online Newspaper in a few days time and you will certainly be hearing much more from me as I take up the task to serve the Island of Nevis as I prepare to be the NEW REPRESENTATIVE FOR NEVIS #11 shortly and and The Next Premier of The Island Of Nevis.
Note well, at 31 years, I must say that we Have Progressed, But We Are Not Totally There Yet. Let us not grow weary in well doing as the Apostle Paul admonishes us in the book of Galatians. Once we continue to WORK TOGETHER - WORK HARD AND NOT GIVE UP, we shall, in due season REAP if we faint not.
Our organization, The Blazing Star Movement (St. KITTS AND NEVIS), certainly doesn't propose SECESSION at all as we prepare to conquer all 11 seats in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis in the near future. WE STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER.
