The three year ongoing legal and political fiasco between Reverend Khrystus V. K. Wallace, Founder and President of KVK ENTERPRISES - www.kvklives.com, Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com and The Blazing Star Movement - www.theblazingstarmovement.com and The Federal Government of St. Kitts and Nevis was the first matter to be heard today Friday, 22nd April, 2016 at The Sir Lee L. Moore Judical Complex.
This matter was inherited by The Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris Team Unity Administration from Former Prime Minister Dr. The Right Honourable Denzil L. Douglas Labour Party Administration.
The matter, sub-captioned, Reverend Khrystus Wallace (Claimant) vs Superintendent Charles Smithen (1st Defendant) and The Attorney General of The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis (2nd Defendant). Suit 248/2015 for wrongful arrest, defamation of character, loss of business, damage to tools of trade and other hurt got started a few minutes after 9 am today when The Honourable Justice Marlene Carter entered her court room.
Appearing for Reverend Khrystus was Lawyer Vaughn Woodley of Henderson Legal Chambers and for defendants was Crown Counsel Azard Gumbs.
Justice Marlene Carter questioned Reverend Khrystus' Lawyer Woodley on whether they would be challenging the Reverend's initial arrest or his 6 month detention or both and she was informed that they would be challenging BOTH.
Lawyer Woodley stated that his team was prepared for TRIAL and requested adjudicator instructions for the OFFICIAL TRIAL to begin.
