Lawyer Teshari John, Chairperson of the Youth of Unity Convention Organizing Committee, along with Host, Businessman Samal Duggins and their well abled planning team can breathe a sigh of relief and relax on beach chairs at Cockle Shell Bay in St. Kitts for the rest of the week, after their first convention was hailed a success.

The 1st Youth of Unity Convention which was held  at the OOJJ's Multi-Complex at Camps, St. Kitts on Saturday, 23rd. August, 2014, saw youths of different ages, across the twin island Federation assembling in their numbers to not just be entertained, but to also be inspired and more so informed about HOW YOUTHS  CAN  MAKE  A  DIFFERENCE in Politics in The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis and also hear Team Unity's plans for the country once elected.

The Youth of Unity 1st Convention was ROCKED by Featured Speaker, St. Vincent and The Grenadines' Iron Lady Senator Vynnette Frederick.

It is quite unfortunate that The National Emergency Management Agency or the Caribbean Emergency Management Agency, didn't record the earthquake on its richter scale (the instrument used to measure the energy from EARTHQUAKES) while the St. Vincent and The Grenadine's Iron Lady Senator Vynnette Frederick addressed the crowd.

Boldly speaking out against The Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas' alleged illegal Labour Party Administration in St. Kitts - Nevis, Senator and Attorney Vynnette Frederick encouraged the youth to rally together and use their YOUTH  POWER, especially through social media to rally their friends to help bring in the change that she suggested is well needed in The Federation of St. Kitts - Nevis.

Senator Frederick reminded youths that in years past, many people shed blood for them to have a RIGHT  TO  VOTE - A  RIGHT  TO  CHOOSE  WHO  THEY  WANTED  TO  LEAD  THEM and encouraged the young people not to abuse that right and stay away from the polls when the time to vote is announced.

As ladies with POWER always seem to do whenever they have the microphone and are able to influence their kind - their gender, Senator Fredericks didn't take her seat before injecting YOUTH  FEMALES with HOPE. She admonished them not to belittle and degrade themselves at no point in their lives, but to shine and stand out and be leaders - even politicians too.

Other speakers for at the event were Lawyer Jonel Powell, Hon. Hazel Brandy from Nevis, Team Unity Leader Dr. Timothy Harris and  Trinidad and Tobago's Youth Social and Political Activist, Analyst and Media Personality Sherwyn Williams.

Entertainment was provided by Nicha B and a YOUNG, VIBRANT AND OVERLY  ENERGETIC AND SUPERBLY INTELLIGENT POET - Miss Knight, who this media house understands received the BEST  CXC/CSEC  RESULTS for 2014 in The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
