I LOVED Being President of The Verchilds High School Youths In Action. . .

The Verchilds High School Youths In Action was founded by Mrs. Elzeva Cuffy while she was a teacher at that school. She is the wife of Bishop John Cuffy of The Way, Truth and Life Assembly EPC. When I was promoted from The Dr. William Connor Primary School to The Verchilds High School, I met the group there and immediately aspired to be apart as it simply because it was a God Focused Group and anything that has to do SERIOUSLY  WITH  GOD - you can COUNT  ME  IN!

As God would have it, I was invited to join, I'm not sure by whom, but I think it was my good school friend and still my current friend Samantha Nisbett from The Trinity Community. (I stand to be corrected!)

When Brother Garfield Hodge graduated in 5th Form, I was elected to be President and take the group forward. I think I was in 3rd Form at that time. I can remember very well meeting after school each week to participate in different activities and share life experiences. The Verchilds High School Youths In Action hosted the assembly each Friday at the school too. It was always awesome and it helped to boost my self esteem and that of the many of group members.

As I try to remember some of the other students who were apart of the group during my tenure as President, I am having some difficulty. Who I do remember most though is my good friend Samantha Nisbett in the picture below. I am wondering why she was the first to come to my mind. Don't worry about that! What happens in the party - stays in the Party! lol - SCHOOL  DAYS  FUN. (sweeteye) - SAM! SAM!

Apart from our weekly meetings and hosting of assemblies, I loved our outings. I honestly just stopped from blogging and went to look at some pictures we took when we traveled to have a BEACH  NIC in NEVIS over twelve (12) years ago.  (Help us Lord! I won't ever share them here or ANYWHERE - what happens in the PARTY - STAYS IN THE PARTY! Young people do some CRAZY - CRAZY - THINGS and do take some CRAZY - CRAZY PICTURES as they operate in the subconscious forgetting that they will GROW  OLDER  SOMEDAY)  Sam - should I show the world? lol - if you want to see. . . .I'm charging $100 to view. (Raising money for the Ministry) smile. . . lol

All in all, although I had the responsibility of being President - I also had a lot fun with my executive and the entire group. I think that Samantha Nisbett is on my email list. SAMMY  DARLING - let's plan a VERCHILDS  HIGH  SCHOOL  YOUTHS  IN  ACTION  REUNION to see where everyone is now and what they are up to.
