My Grampie (c) Jessica Higgins

My love for my Grampie will always be alive
Although he is gone, his legacy will survive

In the things he taught me and love he would show
I am forever grateful and it's to him I owe

From the rain, to the dust, to the stars, and the sand
You will be among me daily, holding my hand

Your smile will always be etched in my mind
Another Grampie like you would be impossible to find

I know your trip of life was fulfilled and long
For that makes this easier and helps keep me strong

Your life was a blessing to all you knew
But I know you're up there now, making your big debut

Greeting Grammy with big hug and a kiss
I know she's been waiting, but it's something I'll miss

You know that I love you and you left to soon
But to me, you'll always be the guy who hung the moon
