Dare 2 Be Different International Youth in

Brother Khrystus V. K. Wallace, President and Founder of the now global Dare 2 Be Different International Ministry has told our media house that his ministry would move forward with a full children and youth executive.

Persons are already questioning Brother Khrystus' fresh idea and vision to let the young people serve on their very own top board of his ministry, but the radical 28 year old isn't moved one bit. He told our media house that he believes that his new idea is one directly approved by God.

Wallace said, 'You see, around the world, we are constantly hearing the big complaint from society that no one can control children and youth of today and they just want to go their own path and do their own thing. I beg to defer. I believe many times when this is so, while not all the time, it is the cause of the parents and organizations of which they are apart. I have always believed that if we get children, teenagers, youth more readily and actively involved in leadership roles, then we will begin to see a big difference. It is us as adults have to make children and youth responsible and recognize that they are responsible for their actions from a youth and help to guide them along the right path"

Wallace continued, "Mind you, I am fully aware that some of the children and youth that will now be allowed to sit on their very own Dare 2 Be Different International Board, many of them would not be on the same spiritual maturity level like many of us older adults. The fact remains though, that THEY  ARE  STILL  YOUNG - children and teenagers, but we cannot take for granted that they have ideas too, they have the ability to lead too and I believe once they understand their responsibility, bit by bit, bit by bit I say, they will begin to adapt to their position. They will begin to show better discipline. Their peers will respect them. They will see some type of ownership with regards to the ministry. Dare 2 Be Different International is not mine. If God doesn't want me apart of this for the rest of my life, I will move on. We are working on a proper constitution so that in the event of my passing, a proper plan is in place. We want to have a proper succession plan documented. That's what proper groups and organizations do. I want to get the children and youth minds so keenly involved in the things of GOD that they will want to stay around Godly activities for the rest of their lives and raise their children in the things of God. We're on a mission to create a NEW  MINDSET at our ministry.."

"Over the years, the cry that has been coming from many children turning teenagers and then young adults is that the church is NOW  BORING. I have always stressed and will continue to postulate that while the MESSAGE  OF  JESUS  CHRIST must never change, the method of delivery MUST CHANGE to suit particular generations. Pastors and leaders must be creative and understand the times in which they are called to serve or they will lose the youth. That's the plain old truth and I won't water it down."

The New and Historic Children and Youth Executive of Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com now stands.

President - Brother Khrystus Wallace

Secretary - Sister Kaylanya Edwards (Acting)

Treasurer - Brother Kadeem Percival (Acting)

Kitchen Director - Brother Kinito Dias (Acting)

Cleaning Director - Brother Shaquan Percival (Acting)

Sports and Exercise Directors - Brother Kaylon Liburd and Sister Tsurhenne Wallace (Acting)

Dance Director - Sister Sianna Harris (Acting)

Farm Project Director - Brother Jason Willett (Acting)

Brother Khrystus still has a MAIN  ADULT  EXECUTIVE  THAT  RUNS  HIS  MINISTRY, but he feels that forming a Youth Board and handing out fresh responsibilities would impact his ministry positively and give youths a sense of RESPONSIBILITY and train NEW  LEADERS for tomorrow from young.

Wallace ended, "I was a very young boy, early teens when Evangelist Laurence Knight, the then Youth Fellowship Leader at the Antioch Baptist Church gave me an opportunity to exhort one Sunday Evening when the youths were responsible for the service. Do you see where I am today? Evangelist Knight brought out the Ministry in me. After that night, he used me a lot to travel and preach open airs around St. Kitts - Nevis which was always his passion. The point I am raising here is that SOMEONE  GAVE  ME  A  CHANCE. Do you see that I am an ordained minister today because years back as a youth - I got a CHANCE.

I was 15 years old when Pastor Lincoln Connor sat me down and told me that over the years he saw my ability and my leadership skills and wanted me to get the opportunity to be President of The Antioch Baptist Church Training Union.  The point I am raising here is that SOMEONE  GAVE  ME  A  CHANCE. Do you see that I have started my own global youth ministry now? - I got a CHANCE.

At Dare 2 Be Different International, one of our core goals is to give YOUTHS a CHANCE and to seek to pull out their gifts and help them to recognize them and then USE  THEM  IN  THEIR  SINGLE  OR  MULTIPLE  CAPACITIES. That is one way we are definitely going to aim to keep them fully focused on God.

Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com celebrates seven (7) years in June, 2015 with ambitious plans to move to a new location and acquire the ministry's first bus along with holding SATELLITE  VACATION  BIBLE  SESSIONS  across St. Kitts and Nevis in Summer 2015
