Public Relations Officer, Ms. Verlyn Warner has stated that The Trinity Community will be hosting its first Fun Day in a long while on Saturday, 7th February, 2015 at The Bronte Welsh Primary School Grounds starting at 12:30 pm.
The Fun Day is the second major project being undertaken by Warner's group since it completed a Trinity Community Capacity Strengthening Workshop fully funded by The Caribbean Development Bank, The Basic Needs Trust Fund, The Ministry of Social and Community Affairs under the directorship of Ms. Azilla Clarke and The Federal Government of St. Kitts and Nevis late last year, 2014.
The group which got access to over EC$10,000 to execute community projects is in the process of completing a HISTORIC TRINITY COMMUNITY MEMORIAL WALL and community benches. The Historic Memorial Wall is expected to hold the names of members from the community who are DECEASED from a certain period (to be approved by the group), along with how they served their community and St. Kitts - Nevis country, their date of birth and date of death, as a remembrance of their contribution and to educate generations to come.
This is possibly the first of its kind across the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, particularly dedicated to any one community.
P.R.O Verlyn Warner encouraged all Trinity Community Residents and by and large the entire island Federation to join with The United Villages of West Farm, Boyds and Palmetto Point Inc as it hosts its first in a series of ongoing community activities particularly aimed at re-energizing the community and restoring community spirit and camraderie.
The group is headed by Brother Khrystus V. K. Wallace, the Vice-President is Brother Bernell "IAN" Richards, the secretary is Sister Jean Richards, the treasurer is Sister Crystal Hunkins, Assistant Treasurer is Sister Galesha Henry and other executive members are Sisters Gladys Dias, Maritza Dias, Dianna Hunkins and Brothers Alston Dias and Kurt Hunkins.
New members from The Trinity Community are always most welcomed to join the new radical group which meets twice monthly.
