The Believer's Conduct - Part 2 By Brother Khrystus V. K. Wallace

1st June, 2014

Dear Global Follower!

Happy June 2014! If you haven't realized as yet, YOU'VE  MADE  IT  TO  THE  HALF  WAY  POINT IN  THIS  YEAR  ALIVE! Others were not so fortunate. Therefore, it is imperative that you pause now and breathe a word of prayer giving GOD  THANKS for sparing your life and the lives of your loved ones.

If you were unfortunate in losing a friend or family member, stay encouraged! Once they knew JESUS as LORD  AND  SAVIOUR of their lives, they have gone to a better place - HEAVEN!

Among the many songs that we sang from our Song Books at today's Dare 2 Be Different International Victory Centre Youth Worship Service, our young people seemed to sing out this song the loudest and were most expressive.

How Great Is Our God

The splendor of a King, clothed in majesty,
Let all the earth rejoice,
All the earth rejoice.

He wraps himself in Light, and darkness tries to hide,
And trembles at his voice,
Trembles at His Voice

How great is our God, sing with me,
How great is our God, and all will see,
How great, how great is our God.

Age to age He stands,
And time is in His hands,
Beginning and the end,
Beginning and the end.

The Godhead Three in One,
Father, Spirit, Son,
The Lion and The Lamb,
The Lion and The Lamb.

Name above all names,
Worthy of all praise,
Oh My heart will sing,
How Great is Our God

Today, we concluded the 2nd part in a sermon series titled THE  BELIEVER'S  CONDUCT.

POINT  2: The Believer needs to have proper control of his TEMPER

A. Anger is defined as "extreme passionate displeasure."

B. Everyone gets angry some times, but we need to understand that there is a difference between getting upset and getting angry to the point of doing or saying the wrong thing - UNKNOWINGLY  AND  OUT OF  RAGE. There is a DIFFERENCE if you know what you are doing and what you are saying when you're angry.

2. There are basically three kinds of anger.

a. When one is hurt because of his zeal for truth and righteousness. (John 2:13 - 17)

b. When one is hurt or displeased without retaliation

c. When one is so enraged that there is an outburst in speech and or action (Proverbs 14:17 Proverbs 22:24-25, Proverbs 29: 22 and Ecclesiastes 7:9)

C. How do we deal with anger?

1. Do not allow it to linger. Pull yourself together as quickly as possible. By all means fix it TODAY. Don't go to bed angry. (Ephesians 4:26)

2. Deprive the devil of a place to work more evil (Ephesians 4:27)

POINT  3: BE  INDUSTRIOUS - GOD  GAVE  US  HANDS  TO  WORK (Ephesians 4:28)

This generation seems to be a VERY  LAZY  GENERATION! Young people DO  NOT  WANT  TO  WORK  AND  HELP  OUT  ANYMORE  especially without receiving pay.

This generation seems too pre-occupied with the technology. The computers! The Cell Phones! The Ipads! The Facebook! Parents seem to just throw these quite useful tools YET  DESTRUCTIVE tools right in the hands of their children to be their baby sitters. Don't spend enough time with the youth and expect to produce future - well behaved KINGS  AND  QUEENS. It won't work!

HARD  WORK - NOT  LIMING helps to discipline all of us for life! Technology IS  NOT  GOING  TO  DO  IT! No matter how many more apps and devices they make - I can assure you that they will just continue to make us more lazier and dependent and control our minds if we don't STOP - RE-EXAMINE where we are going and choose to go the other way.

A. Working provides for us! Working teaches us as youth how to PROVIDE for our homes when we grow older and have a family of our own.

B. Working provides for the needy outside the home (Ephesians 4:29). Always remember we have a God-Given duty to remember those who cannot help themselves. Not to remember those who can work and stay on the side of the road begging - refusing to work! REMEMBER  THAT!

POINT  4:  REMEMBER  ALWAYS  THAT  THE  HOLY  SPIRIT  LIVES  IN OUR  BODY. HE  IS  THE  SEAL  THAT  OUR  HEAVENLY  FATHER  PUTS  ON  US

A. Your conduct will either grieve HIM or make HIM happy. (1 Corinthians 6:18-20)

B. The signification of the sealing of The Holy Spirit

1. The believer is sealed with the Holy Spirit when he believes in Christ (Ephesians 1:13) ALL  YOU HAVE  TO  DO  IS  BELIEVE! All types of different doctrines and teachings confuse many of us saying all sorts of things.

We teach here at The Victory Centre that we must BELIEVE and Acknowledge God as King - Believe He Sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for the Sins of The World on the CROSS - Do Right and Do Good as we obey the holy spirit and WE will get into heaven!

We are not going to be a MINISTRY that confuses and forces you and tells you that you are not going to heaven if you wear a hat or don't wear a hat. If you eat pork or don't eat pork. If you wear a pant or wear a skirt. Yes we have standards! But we want to suggest that we are MOST  CONCERNED  WITH  YOUR  HEART  FIRST - and then GOD  WOULD  SPEAK  TO  OUR  HEARTS  INDIVIDUALLY  AND  GUIDE  US  AS  TO  WHAT  IS  RIGHT  AND  WRONG - as we study HIS word - HE  WILL  CONVICT  OUR  HEARTS  INDIVIDUALLY  AND  COLLECTIVELY. Always remember we follow GOD'S  WORD  AND  RULES -  Not MAN'S  RULES!!!!!

WE  ARE  DIFFERENT!  WE  DARE  TO  BE  DIFFERENT  AND  ACT  DIFFERENTLY  DAILY!  WE  MUST  ALL  BE  TREND  SETTERS - NOT  FOLLOWERS!  WE  ARE  LEADERS -  NOT  FOLLOWERS!  People must look at us and not we look at others! People must want to be like us as we FOLLOW  GOD  and we must not want to be like others!

WE  ARE  DIFFERENT!

2. The Seal of The Holy Spirit signifies OWNERSHIP. If we are sealed we have the ownership seal upon us (2 Timothy 2:19)

3. The Seal signifies Identification. It is our identification for the future. (Ephesians 1:13-14)

4. The Seal signifies SECURITY. There are several scripture portions that bare this truth out. (Revelation 7:4-8. Revelation 20:3 and Ephesians 1:13-14)

5. The Seal signifies a FINISHED  TRANSACTION! (Jeremiah 32:10) The seal of the Holy Spirit is that legal evidence which testifies to the fact that we have entered into THE  FINISHED  OF  CHRIST!

6. The Seal signifies Impression - John 38:14) The seal always leaves God's impression in the wax. If we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. His impression should be on us. 2 Corinthian's 3:3

The question is for all of us - Are we aiming to LIVE  BY  AND  FOLLOW  GOD'S  RULES  and GOD'S  INSTRUCTIONS  and  CONDUCT  OUR  LIVES  APPROPRIATELY?

Or are we more focused on obeying MAN's RULES and MAN's INSTRUCTIONS and PLEASING  MAN?

We teach you here at The Victory Centre how to search the scriptures for yourself as the Bible Admonishes us that WE  MUST  ALL  HAVE  AN  ANSWER  TO  GIVE  TO  EVERYONE  WHO  ASKS  US  ABOUT  THE  HOPE  THAT  WE  HAVE!

This two part sermon series is just a little bit of guidance as to how God would have us live! Let's heed and continue to live DIFFERENT  AND  VICTORIOUS  AND  SUCCESSFUL  LIVES!

Be Blessed!
