20 Year Old Public Figure in St. Kitts and Nevis Ms. Jaheida Lewis (Endorsed by Dare 2 Be Different International)

Everyday, I meet amazing friends from around the world who have happened to come across one of my articles or crazy - fun advertisements or pictures that I've posted on several social media websites.

The boldest of the bold make the first move to meet me and force me to give them some of my precious and valuable time either by adding me on facebook, sending me a whatsapp message, calling me or just dropping in to see me at my office at Boyds - Trinity Parish -St. Kitts without an appointment.

20 year old Jaheida Lewis did that just today and without exaggerating, SHE  WON  MY  HEART AFTER  30 minutes of talking. She knows how to keep a professional yet down to earth conversation and how to market herself and what she's doing very well. I  AM  AMAZED and I highly recommend her globally. I  LOVE  HER  ENERGY!

My newest friend Jaheida definitely knows what she's about and she even got me to sponsor a few shirts for her SUMMER  2015  DANCE  WORKSHOP - another one of her many youth initiatives after a mere 30 minutes or less talking to me. That rarely happens if you don't have a prior GOOD personal relationship with me, one of my associates or have done business through my KVK ENTERPRISES - www.kvklives.com or support my Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com ministry.

I won't do too much talking here. I'm going to give a chance to Princess Denaula Laplace, a 20 year old upcoming writer who you'll be hearing from much more through our Dare 2 Be Different International Global Media Service, so she can tell you more about Jaheida Lewis.

What I'll say though in closing is this. Jaheida reminds me a lot, a lot of me. Her CONFIDENCE is very, very, very impressive. She knows what she is about and she knows how to present herself WELL. She is overfilled with ENERGY, CHARISMA and IDEAS and has a passion for youths too.

YOU THINK? (sweeteye)

Jaheida Lewis: Conquering Society Through Positivity

by:

Princess Denaula Laplace (age 20)

Under her shy exterior, Jaheida Lewis is an exuberant, passionate young woman so accurately nicknamed ‘Passion’.

After my interview with her, it was absolutely clear where her loyalty lies – with the youth. Her active involvement in coaching grassroots football and being a member of LEAP, the more than prestigious dance academy in The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, has allowed her to observe enough social immorality to want to take a stand and allow her voice to be heard.

In today’s society, there are two options – academia or die. The rare, talented few who make it through a system unscathed and seemingly only designed for Grade ones and Grade twos, deserve a round of applause.

However, realistically, many teens are left to suffer because of their inability to adapt to a system that was not formed or created with them in mind. This bias, unfortunately however extends beyond academia. It transcends past failure within the classroom. This bias can be found among adolescents and teens that are too shy to have a voice, or are too different to fit in or too opinionated to be understood.

Jaheida is of the view that you will always be “too much” of something for someone, and this is the problem that the world has today. She feels that individuals are so hell bent on changing someone to fit themselves that they do not spend time appreciating them.

The tolerance that society has refused to extend to individuals who do not, or who cannot fit into a mold that has been so precisely chiseled to meet the needs of only a select few, has resulted in many teenagers ending up as litter on the pavement of life.

Jaheida has ambitious plans to take small strides to put an end to this ongoing, vicious cycle. She wants to give children and adolescents a safe haven in such a formative time of their lives, where they can feel appreciated and are tucked away from the snares of bias, judgment and severe criticism. Her work has only just begun, and the path ahead is sure to be a rocky one, filled no doubt with bumps, bruises and setbacks – but Jaheida stands undeterred on her journey.

She is on a quest to achieve happiness and increase the positive mentality in a St. Kitts - Nevis society that is more often than not, intolerant, and overly judgmental.

Keep your eyes peeled! The more than amazing Jaheida has a lot more of her awesome energy, ideas, charisma and zeal ready to come your way. At age 20, she has only just begun!
