Last week, St. Kitts based Education Officer Mr. Daryl Lloyd who is responsible for The Edgar T. Morris Primary School, contacted and asked if someone from our Dare 2 Be Different International Media Department could come and cover a Grade 6 Motivational Symposium at that school in Tabernacle because he loves the creative way in which we write and present our articles to the world, and I decided to not send anyone, but cover it myself.
I am happy that I did. It was here I met yet another friend in the person of 24 year old Wrennelcia Thomas. Off the bat, let me find a few adjectives to describe her to you my global audience. She is energetic, lively, fun, talented, confident and extraordinary!
I love writing fun articles and since I am also a politician, I am a very, very, very HARSH CRITIC TOO. What I'll say though, is that as I looked at the humble yet overly jubilant Wrennelcia in full detail - FULL DETAIL, all I can do is but commend her. From her beauty to her dress to her eloquence, SHE WAS COMPLETELY FLAWLESS.
Confident Wrennelcia was the chairperson for the first ever very creative Grade 6 Motivational Symposium, which is the brain child of Education Officer Daryl Lloyd. As I saw her present herself to her listening audience with such professional deportment, I sat in awe. I was proud. Here was yet another young, independent and confident female product of The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis who was KEEPING HER HEAD ON AND MAKING SOMETHING OUT OF HER LIFE.
I listened quite keenly at her use of the English Language and she mastered it. What I loved about her too was that she knew perfectly when to use a little dialect and spur on some laughter with her audience. Only experienced HOSTS know how to do that well and then settle down the audience. WOW! WOW! WOW! Wrennelcia did that well!
Added to remarkable Wrennelcia's public speaking talent, was the fact that she was also down on the program to sing a solo. When she opened her mouth and the melodious sound of positive words rose into the air and saturated the environment, I almost melted in my seat. What a singer - what a charmer I thought.
Wrennelcia could sing! Oh my she could sing! What talent I thought to myself. I NOMINATE HER FOR THE VOICE 2015. I had never seen her or met her in my life before, so after the event I approached her to congratulate her and offer her some encouragement as a young rising St. Kitts - Nevis Star.
In talking with her, she stated that she ALREADY KNEW WHO I WAS, as if everybody doesn't know who Khrystus Wallace is. She had also seen my creative 2015 girl friend advertisement all over the place and follows me at times on facebook. I was actually a bit shocked to learn that. But, then again why should I? Social Media is overly powerful.
This mind blowing, gorgeous and charming beauty has been teaching for three years and she teaches Grade 2 at The Edgar T. Morris Primary School in Tabernacle - St. Kitts. I tried to get some more information from her so that I could tell you a bit more, but she "SHEWED" me away BLUSHING. Therefore, in time, as our Dare 2 Be Different International Ministry - www.daretobedifferentskn.com assists the school, I'll get to learn more about her and probably update you in a subsequent article.
All in all, I am most happy that I decided to travel all the way over to Tabernacle - St. Kitts last week to cover Education Officer Daryl Lloyd's Edgar T. Morris Grade 6 Motivational Symposium or I would have never met the exquisite Wrennelcia Thomas. HALLELUJAH!!!!!
