ALCOHOL

ALCOHOL -
It makes life dull.
And one can't cull
The wealth of joy,
That makes life pregnant with fulfillment.

ALCOHOL -
That wretch!
By every one the imagination stretch,
To depths of vulgar, senseless wit:
I deplore it.

ALCOHOL -
The thief of youth,
Does stifle truth,
And drowns the toot
That warns of peril at the turn of every road.

ALCOHOL -
Can cause fright night
In all its might.
The crash of metal smack against, rock, tree -
Anything, by day, by night.

ALCOHOL -
The tremors come,
The limbs go numb.
The tongue lasps dumb.
The morn doesn't come,
And there's no hum of life.

ALCOHOL -
It pains the home,
And makes moms groan,
While children suffer loss, and hungry roam.

ALCOHOL -
How can it hide?
Lost human pride,
Though often denied.
Great hosts have died,
Here and worldwide.
Grief multiplied.
Moms cried.
Child cried.
Dad cried.
And we all know,
That it was so!

ALCOHOL -
It mocks, it mocks.
It sends men off their rocks,
Who rage crazy as cocks,
In bars, in streets, in homes, on docks.
And there they stay,
In shame alway.

ALCOHOL -
It bears no fame.
Only rife shame.
It's no kind game.
So full of pain.
Shun ALCOHOL -
That big bobbol,
And save a skull.
Yours? Yes!
Mine? Yes!
Your child's? Yes!
Your loved ones? Yes!
That's BEST!
