Let's See What We Can Do
Many a man and woman with HIV,
Die faster, abandoned when they are lonely.
When their friends have scattered, some families go,
Leaving them helpless, alone to die slow.
Jobs they lose too, homes and money disappear,
And life becomes a long lonely scare in despair.
Let's see what we can do to change tide,
And stand by the HIV/AIDS person's side.
They need us, they're human,
They won't make us sick, if we touch or hug them - any day.
Let's show what we can do,
Let's form support groups one or two.
Let's help.
Let's not let a fellow human die, brokenhearted and cold with no one nearby.
With no one to care, no warm hand to hold.
This sad story must never be told.
This is our chance to GIVE ALL WE CAN,
Of our time, of our love, showing we do understand.
People with HIV/AIDS, they need you, our empathy,
Let's see what we can do right now, instantly!
Continuously? Yes - Continuously!
